Yeah I find most of the time Khan comes across pretty well. It's really bugging me, don't know if you know who was on our right of Saul Alvarez in the crowd for Khan's fight? He was getting really worked up in the fight, sure I should recognise him.

Khan came across really well but then I've always thought he's a good lad,I think he could fight ortiz next after that interview,as for jim he was seriously convinced groves don't want a piece of degale mmm don't know about that,finally khans a great fighter but that fight proves he's nowhere near the p4p guys yet IMO

I got back into the UK last night and watched it this morning, which was the perfect 'welcome home' present. Thought it was a great show and agree re. Khan coming across well. Only saw highlights of the Smith vs Degale fight but Degale looked so composed and poised considering his lack of professional experience.
Have to say that Adam Smith is so much better in a studio setting than as a commentator, though Johnny Nelson goes dangerously close to 'cheerleader' status too frequently for my liking.

Johnny Nelson never deviates from the official Sky Sport's 'party lines'. Makes him an empty suit really, like many at Sky. We need some personalities who will say what they think, and technical analysis from the commentators. Anyone can tell who is throwing the most punches, but how are the boxers setting up their counters, what is the reason for the boxer altering his guard? Watch HBO vs Sky on the same fight and you will see just how much Sky miss in their analysis.

Good show as always, enjoyed the rerun of Khan almost as much as live (when me swede was kettled).

Maximum respect to Amir for taking on the most dangerous fighter in the division and fighting him the way he did. I've criticised Amirs opponents in the past as he always seemed to fight light-punchers, but Saturday was his coming of age fight.

Amir's a vulnerable genius in the ring, which will make him a megastar. Keep up the good work AK!

Yes, I think this is bang on in terms of the lack of technical analysis and insight - I guess the reason I was so disappointed was because I was in the UK when Nelson first popped up on Sky and the first impression he made was a very favourable one. Having not seen him since it was therefore all the more disappointing to see him trot out that sub-standard fare.

Good show, but to me Khan came across as a bit arrogant and although he thinks he is bigger than he is.

I found the last ringside show a bit annoying. Since Smith's promotion at Sky I feel he' gone downhill in his studio presentation and I just wish Nelson would piss off. A terrible boxer to watch whilst active and a pretty gutless presenter too. A good reason why he should never be too critical of any boxers is that he was bloody awful himself. Some of us can still remember the agony of watching him stink the place out to high heaven on more than a few occassions.

I'd have much rather Sky showed more of the liverpool show than listen to them gushing over Khan for what seemed like an enternity. A remember a while back Ed Robinson asked the question about what the viewers would rather watch and for me it would always be to pack more boxing in (and not edited rounds)...Bellew-McKenzie looked a real thriller but we barely got to see more than a couple of minutes.

Have to say what they showed of the DeGale-Smith fight proves that Degale is a cut above all the supermiddles in Britain on that showing (bar Froch as Degale himself pointed out). It seemed an almost effortless dismissal of Smith. Can't stand DeGale personally, but it looks like he's here to stay so will just have to get used to it

Jim McDonnell, however, got on my nerves with his comments about George Groves. It's not McDonnell's job to be worrying who Groves should or shouldn't be fighting next. To also say that Groves doesn't want the fight is bollocks. To also say that Groves "knows" that he can't beat Degale struck me as a load of bollocks too. Did Groves also "know" that he couldn't beat Degale as an amateur...twice!

DeGale is improving rapidly, no doubt, but if anyone is going to give him a challenge it's Groves. I'd hate it if the fans got robbed of another top notch British title clash between two young guns.

Yep agree 100%. Nelson talks a load of bollocks generally, trips over his own words in his rush to enthuse about everything, and most of what he says is the bleeding obvious. He adds nothing to the shows, but you can be 100% sure Sky will keep him on there until the end of time.
