Oh dear.

Ledebev had him on the ropes for 90% of the fight.

Huck showed no head movement, no jab, no workrate at all - He was out hustled and outgunned.

Then the German judges rob him for a split by 2 rounds !!

judge: William Lerch 116-112 | judge: Lahcen Oumghar 113-115 | judge: Manuel Oliver Palomo 113-115

Jesus I didn't see Huck getting through that....at least I can rely on a robbery in Germany.

I had it 117-111 Lebedev, but the writing was on the wall when Huck got on his bike in the final round rather than pushing for the KO. Lebedev built up a big lead for first half of fight with the final few rounds no more than even for Huck.

It's gotten so bad with these Sauerland events that even in a close fight there is no suspense when the decision is being announced.

No im not just to me Huck just edged it, yes Lebedev was more aggresive, but he didn't control Huck though and Huck landed some nice shots which will have won him the rounds

I recall that you had Huck winning after eight rounds. He got battered in the first half of the fight.

i had exactly the same score. I know that one even round i scored would have gone for huck, but for christ's sake he did virtually nothing but miss and backpedal for 8 fornicating rounds!

I thought Huck won easily enough, weird how different view points can be - if he did feck all, how come the Russian looked more banged up at the end? The Russkie came to knock him out, and couldn't, and I thought Huck did enough, and the Russian didn't.

I don't think this will go down as a robbery at all.

Lebedev looked like that before the fight started.

Ring generalship = Lebedev
Cleaner, harder punches = Lebedev
Aggression = Lebedev

What did Huck do that made you think he won?

Huck was out-gamed, outgunned and forced back onto the ropes for the majority of the fight. Huck never bossed the action, constantly tucked up and absorbed blows around the head and body. Stinking decision.

No wonder people say you need a KO to get a draw in Germany. That was awful.

Maybe because he swellls/cuts easier? Larry Donald did feck all in his fight with Kirk Johnson and lost a wide decision, but by the end of the fight Johnson was a mess. Levels of swelling, etc are not always consonant with the how many times a fighter was hit.

Huck certainly did not have an easy time.

Maybe the screaming German audience had something to do with it. No way did Huck win "easily enough."

Come on mate, that is dumb, and you know better than that. You don't judge a fight on who marks up easier. One punch can cause a horrendous cut.

Huck never looked in control of any round, gave him a few because he landed the eye catching punches, but he always looked under pressure, and missed most of the time he tried to respond.

 Ok, he's ugly alright, but not that bad. I dunno, I didn't score it but got the impression Huck was dictated things and boxed to plan. didn't see Leb scoring too much

i think if youd been watching it with a mind to scoring the rounds, your conclusion may have been quite different. Neither man really totally imposed himself on the other, it was a pretty boring fight, but Lebedev controlled most of each three minute round.

Huck didnt even wake up until round 8.

Well I'm surprised so many saw it for the Russian, maybe I completely misread it....be interesting to see if I'm the only one who thought Huck won it.

And I didn't give it to Hick cause the other guy marked up..was just making the point Huck was landing the right hand, and not just doing sweet FA

Fair enough, I'll shut up now :DDD

Apparently even the TV commentators on ARD said it was a bad decision.

Oh come on! That was a plain robbery. Huck was outworked, outpunched and outgamed.
