Surely Robinson and Napoles are heading the pack for this year.

I don't think either should be admitted.

I think I'm in the running though. Two multiple world champions. Two fighters in the top 10 for 20 odd weeks. All round great guy.

I think that if the season were to go 40 weeks and Sugar Ray successfully defends his titles, he should be a HOFer.

I'm not sure.

I compare to Tiger Jack Fox and Rafael Marquez - they were special achievements. SRR is the number one ranked boxer in the division, possibly the sim. Dominance was expected.

Agree, but at the same time you have to beat who is in front of you. If you actually look at the fighters faced of all three, Robinson by far has fought the better opponents on a constant basis and has done more as far as gaining belts. How far rating wise is Armstrong behind Robinson? I wouldn't think far at all, but Robinson has done better this season. Hell, Simon Brown and Roberto Duran are almost on the same level this season, but Duran's rating has to be far better....

I don't think he is in yet, but if he continues, I think he should be.

I wouldn't argue if he went on to retain the belts till the end.

Robinson has been the force this season, but I don't think he's been as dominant as TJF was, and even Marquez (despite the season not lasting).

Out of 20 weeks with Marquez, he fought quite a few cpu fighters if I'm correct. On top of that, he didn't beat a lot of the top guys or tried to unify when given the chance. I wouldn't call him dominant....

TJF on the other hand was, can't really take much, if anything, away from him. He finished up with a 34-5-1 record and was seen as the #1 fighter that season....

With Marquez though, he had a rating of 9 or something, which in comparison to the best of the division...

I agree with 'Geto, Marquez's season was only 20 weeks and, in that time, he didn't fight all the opt competitors. He avoided Arguello and someone else If I remember.

But Robinson has ripped everyone apart, this season. :TU:

If SRL keeps hold of the title till the end of the season, would that make him eligible for the Hof?

All fighters are eligible I think, just a matter of putting it to a vote.

Me too.

I also request that P4P1 is immediately sacked and replaced by the one and only, me.

The Million Dollar Tournament should be put into the HOF. :TU:
And I should be taken out of the Rogues section.

First proposal is good, but this season has only enhanced your reputation for noobery, what with your vanishing and your little spat with the Commish.

Went ahead and put Robinson, Pacquiao, Leonard and Napoles up for vote since I didn't know if P4P1 is going to back soon with the holiday break.

To me these are the only fighters even worth mentioning this season as potential HOF candidates.

If Napoles does notget in, we should still note his WBU title reign in a new REIGNS section... It really wasa masterful achievement.

He reminds me a bit of Spinks, they both started off badly, had fantastic WBU reigns than made it to the top much, much later. :box:
