:oo Jesus! What happened to Robinson this week? Was he on the drinnk last night or what?

That is a crushing loss and could put a major dent in his HOF hopes.

Very competitive fight between Duran and Naoples, I scored it 114-113 to Duran, so maybe Jose was a bit fortunate.

Honeyghan was excellent this week, that's mor elike it Lloyd. :TU:

This is my last year of the sim. A man that was never actually stopped in nearly 200 actual fights losses in one round. I'm done after this year.............

I have said for many season this sim makes no sense what so ever. I thought about quitting after this season due to people refusing to take fights and a lot of the original managers dropping out. After this nonsense, it just seals my decision.....

I know exactly what you mean dude. The Sim does produce some very strange results. For example, when would Tiger Jack Fox ever become an Undsiputed Light Heavyweight Champion, when you have the likes of Moorse, Spinks and Greb in there ahead of him.

Sometimes you just have to scratch your head, because some of the results that happen here you would never work out.

But, I suppose the unpredictability is part of the fun of it.

Says the man who wouldn't even fight Robinson without being forced to...........

It's that type of attitude that brings the fun of the sim down in the first place. As every other season, probably worse in this one, people are scared to fight as if million of dollars are on the line.....yet, they are in the CS or British forum complaining about fights not being made when there are millions of dollars on the line.....

Anyhow, the sim is losing steam unless people make it fun again. Fight the top fighters, have rules on how you can drop and pick up, have title unification rules, etc. This season, how many managers played a whole season? How many original managers do we have still playing the sim? The sim needs a helping hand and it's up to the managers.

That's an excellent point. There is a whole lot of running and hiding in this place. The origins of it can easily be traced back to BuzBuzz who attempts to hide it using humour.
armageto wrote:Anyhow, the sim is losing steam unless people make it fun again.
I think that this is true as well... Just look at the sheer number of managers who have come & gone here.
MatthewS, Sav, BossTycoon and even Adam have come and gone, even Neri and Smally have left.
We do need a boost and we need rules for every eventuality. Just so that there is some consistency.
armageto wrote:Fight the top fighters, have rules on how you can drop and pick up, have title unification rules, etc.
There should be rules of an x number of title defences before a unification fight happens.

And, fighters who are wanted in the pool should have fightoffs or tournaments to decide who gets them.

Consistency is the key!

Bile and entrails.....

Freedom is the answer here. Not rules and regulations and directives. Or some blind pilot like Crease filing a "flight plan". A fight is a fight....anything can happen when gladiators enter the ring, be they sim or be they real. The only thing surprising about the sim is that it takes on rather realistic aspects....which of course is what folks love to whine about.

Robinson and Napoles have tended to rule.....and that's a surprise how?

Some rather remarkable and unusual stuff happened along the way as well. No surprise there.

GBP took the lowest ranked fighter to the top.....not all that unusual.

Kevo pulls some sort of last minute upset. Common fare as well.

That's the sim life.

The Lonsdale belt is tracking the realities so no one will get fast and loose with the truth.....though a few continue to attempt it.

And of course there is always the matter of the pond scum.....e.g. folks like the verticle Crease. The fella who has it all figured out, and if we would only listen to him, all things Sim would be just Find and Dandy. If we would only pay attention to his brilliance, We'd have butterflies flying out of our navels and we'd be farting delightful alpine scents, while being fed grapes and delicious meats and cheeses by the finest Las Vegas Show girls.

Hold the phone....

Crease shut up a little bit, and you'll find that things will surprisingly improve in no time flat.

Concentrate on BENEFIT, and learn to let go of CONTROL.....and you too will be right as rain in as little as two tiny nanoseconds.

Oh...and eat plenty of fiber in the way of bran or whole grains. No harm will come to you from such items.

Wow, Aaron Davis is the New WBU Champion.

Hard Knocks Gym is pleased to able to come back from a self imposed retirement, And bring a fighter such as Aaron to the Top of the sims World.

There are many Camps with elite level guys who cant win any silverware, Its a shame that a guy like Duran will never see the bright lights that Aaron will :OhYes: :OhYes: :OhYes: :OhYes:

Er, dumbass, I fought Robinson in one of the first weeks without having too, and then he was my mandatory one week after you called Napoles out.

Detroit has his tournie, Buzz has his Lonsdale belt, Crease has his stats, GM has his record tally for SSM, I had my rankings, a few of us like to make articles. All you do is moan because Leonard sparked Robinson in one!

One fight?!?! We called out both Naples and Walker for many weeks without a response.

Overall point being, if people can't see that there is a loss of interest in the Sim, then we are doomed. What is next year going to have, 5 managers that play a full season?!?!? There should be some adjustments to pump life back into the Sim....

I'd love for you to provide evidence of all these challenges. I'd recommend getting yourself a sleeping bag, gram of cocaine and a fat chinese because you'll be there for a while.

I think so many people left because for a start, there were too many people, and secondly, it's been hard to break the top 10, let alone claim the belts.
