I got the 9/12 edition on 16/12 and am still waiting on the 16/12 edition. Last week they were immediately offered an extra week's subscription and referred to the on-line preview.
This week it is more of 'whats the problem' and simply blame the post office. I asked if they would e-mail a PDF file of the missing edition, but they were not happy about doing so. I can understand that they want to avoid scammers e-mailing them around, but what about the phrase 'the customer is always right'. The on-line read is okay, but I can get more out of ESB for free.
If they want us to renew our subscriptions. Stop blaming the postman and start e-mailing out the PDF's for those on your lists. My Mrs has Hello magazine on subscription and it really pisses me off that this magazine has not been caught up in the great mail backlog.

I'm also still waiting for the 16/12 edition, usually get it on a Friday (live in Europe)
If this keeps up, and with all the mail free days around Christmas, I probably won't have the xmas editon until 2011.
Not happy :(

Hi I work for BN. You cannot email a PDF of the entire mag- it would ne huge in file size. This is why we put the digital issue up. Post is late nationwide so it's hardly a "BN fiasco", more a Royal Mail one. The digital issue for the Dec 16 issue is online for subscribers on the same page as the Dec 9 one was. Thats the PDFs you cannot send in a single email. Hope this helps. If not, pm me, ring us etc.colinspurs wrote:I got the 9/12 edition on 16/12 and am still waiting on the 16/12 edition. Bloody good issue too. And I suspect the mrs has bought me the Boxing News annual for xmas. I might just read that rather than talk to the in laws.

Since i started subscribing it has not gone well the last 6 weeks have been a waste of time always late, will not be subscribing again for a year will just go to smiths on a thursday they always have bundles in on a thursday. To say it is royal mails fault is out of order i am still getting stuff which i bought online on monday arrived today Royal mail. Before the snow arrived i was having probs
Re: Week 2 of the Boxing News delivery fiasco
Mine came Monday and previous copy arrived last Thursday.
The snow has had an impact that the publisher can't forecast the performance of their contracted delivery company (Royal Mail?).
I ordered two toys for my son from the Entertainer toy shop (formerly gadget shop) on November 27th and they still haven't arrived despite assurances last Tuesday they had been shipped.
