Sandy Saddler vs Salavador Sanchez????

Post by BrocktonBlockbuster49 »

Who would have won???

i think it would have been an excellent fantasy fight and a great battle. I think Saddler would beat him, but I'm gonna do some more research on both fighters and come up with my final prediction.

Off the top of my head I say Saddler. I really missed most of Sanchez-couldn't stand him after he beat Danny Lopez. I do know that movers that were too strong for Saddler to manhandle in clinches gave him trouble- see his fight with Del Flanagan. If correct in my memory, I believe I once read one "noted expert" and he picked Saddler to easily beat five all-time featherweights of recent vintage. Included were Sanchez and Arguello neither of whom saw the 9th.

I'd pick Sanchez, very strong and skillful with great speed... I think he'd be able to outbox Saddler in a great fight.
Salvadore was barely at his peak when he was killed sadly, ...he wouldve been a multi weight champion I think.

I'd have to go with Saddler. Not only did he possess the same kind of skill that Sanchez did, but he also packed the wallop to put opponents to sleep with one shot and his ability to take punishment was extraordinary!
