Typically, the top fighters of older era's fought more bouts than their contemporaries, but less footage of them is readily available for obvious reasons.
Who are some classic fighters of whom large amounts of footage have been uploaded online(I'm talking 80's or before)?
Fighters with the most footage?
Re: Fighters with the most footage?
I'm going to sneak my request in for a SINGLE FRAME of Maxie Rosenbloom in the ring. It's stunning that this guy who sought the media camera out relentlessly, and was in many films, apparently has NO film record of his time in the ring. Sorry, but his name obviously belongs at the polar opposite of your request.

80s or before? That's a pretty humongous swath of film you're talking about . .
Re: Fighters with the most footage?
Joe Louis must be the most filmed fighter of the 30/40s

Primarily becausehe was the Heavyweight Champ throughout all them years.J-C wrote:Joe Louis must be the most filmed fighter of the 30/40s
And the Heavyweight division being the most high-profile.

The fighter from the 80's on back that I've seen the most footage of is definitely Ali. ESPN Classic used to show nothing but Ali it seemed like. Now that they show other fights, you have to pay to have the channel on Directv....Wonderful.
