Okay I concede 'shotter' isn't a word but you get the idea I'm sure

Well done to the IBO for giving these two worthy fighters a 'title' opportunity, who would have thought losing your last fight in a lower division would lead to this?

Any truth in rumour that as well as the 'prestigious' IBO Inter Belt the winner will receive a £25.00 Argos gift voucher?
but while am earning my 25 argos vochers by fighting your birds is earning her working in the brass house gettin her head bummed in

You will always get shithouses posting stuff like that on any forum, Derry. The anonymity of the internet means people will post stuff they wouldn't dare say to your face.

There's no point even replying to them.

Its a pity that all this is done from behind keyboards. But then again, if it were face to face you probably wouldnt even open you mouth.

It is a pity as you could do with a hiding, as you should be showing the fighters a bit more respect than that. The game is hard enough without s hit like you coming out with b ollocks.

How much 'respect' did Matthews show his opponents (and the sport) when he wore shorts emblazoned with 'DIRTY' ?

How much 'respect' did he show John Simpson when he split John's scalp to the bone with a headbutt then gloated about it during post fight interviews

Sorry this quote from you maybe a little better Ralph/ firestarter I just googled Ralph Nossek and he has guiness book of records for stuffing cocks in his arse all at same time??

'Respect' has to earned and that tw*t is not due a ounce of it

Derry will taking on Scott on January 22nd at lightweight for the IBO International title.

Lawton stated that "this will be my last fight whether I win, lose or draw. I'm hugely motivated, I'm bringing a lot of fans and It'd be a dream to end my career by finishing with a title."

Mathews added. "Scott's become a friend but it's business and there's no way that I'm losing on January 22nd. Once I beat Lawton, I'll sit down with Oliver [Harrison] and we'll see where we go next. I'm just taking one step at a time but I feel like I'm in a good place at the moment."

A huge mutual respect was evident between the fighters and they shared plenty of light-hearted banter before engaging in the traditional staredown.

The presser was attended by a large number of Liverpool fighters who will also make an appearance on the bill. Debutants Josh Brough and Jazza Dickens were on display. As were Kevin Satchell and Joe Tonks.

Paul Edwards was on hand with his recently acquired Lonsdale strap and he welcomed Scott Lawton's proposal of a showdown with another Stoke fighter, Chris Edwards.

Forget anyone else, if Paul Edwards backs out of giving Bayaar an immediate rematch the guy is a disgrace.

Edwards will give Shinny Bayaar a rematch. Guaranteed.

The cut may take a long time to heal so I'm guessing Edwards is looking at a voluntary before giving the Mongolian his deserved shot
Its definately a fight I would like to see again. To be honest there are quite a few fights from that Prizefighter that I wouldnt mind seeing again.

Didn't see your mug tonight, King Gee. Where were you sitting?

Anyways, was a good fight that came alive in the latter rounds with Derry winning it convincingly, having put Lawton down with a left hook in the 6th (I think).

I'm going to bed.
