KOTV Boxing Weekly

Post by UpperCrust »

Was just wondering if anybody watches this/what they think.

Had no idea it existed until I was mindlessly browsing TV at 2am yesterday and came across this on Channel 4. (how long has it been around for?)

I found it fairly useful for updates on past/upcoming bouts from around the world and it showed some highlights from fights e.g. Rogans etc.

The more boxing we can get on terrestial the better in any case (even if its even the early hours!)

Its been around a long time mate. I'm sure have an episode on tape somewhere from a decade a go. It's a good round-up show and great to hear it's still on the air. You can catch it on 4 OD I think.

a good few years I very , very rarely watch it cos it's on so late. Great show tho. Last time I watched it they were having a look back at Shane Mosely KO'ing this Brit in leopard trunks over there in about 3 rounds, just b4 I got into boxing properly.

:OhYes:

That would be Adrian Stone - brilliant yet vicious knockout that one. That speedster Mosley is a far cry from the one that exists today. :(

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_7JQ6SflXE If anyone wants to watch the full fight I watched it last night. Stone also fought Sergio Martinez for the IBO Light-Middleweight strap against Sergio Martinez if my memory serves me correctly. I Sky+ every week and you get some tasty fight from the Phillipines which are quite good.
