not seen the frenchman only looked at his record , but i dont see mcintosh anywhere near euro title level so if the guys worth his salt he should deal with mcintosh
Re: Danny McIntosh v Thierry Karl for the European LHW title
Karl is horrendous, but can punch. Bit like Macintosh. Should be interesting while it lasts.

I have not seen much of Karl. Is this fight considered to be a 50-50 type of fight?

Karl scored a first round KO over the guy that gave Clev hell in his last fight, and he has a couple of other good wins. Same size as McIntosh, strong, and fighting at home. I have never thought much of McIntosh, so I am leaning towards Karl at the moment. He is a solid EBU type of fighter. Very good win for McIntosh if he can come through.

Re: Danny McIntosh v Thierry Karl for the European LHW title
Norwich favourite Danny McIntosh faces a tough away assignment against seasoned Frenchman Thierry Karl for the vacant European light-heavyweight title in France on January 22. The title was made vacant by Nathan Cleverly.
McIntosh was stopped by Cleverly in seven rounds in July 2009 but has rebounded well with quick wins over Tony Oakey and Hastings Rasani, although Danny still has an inexperienced feel about him at 12-1 (6) and is short of 'rounds'. Karl won the French light-heavyweight title last March with a 10-round decision over the useful Karim Bennama and previously clattered Nadjib Mohammedi in the first round, the Frenchman who put up a spirited display here against Cleverly. That's a big win for Karl, who obviously whacks at 28-4 (18) and hasn't lost since he campaigned as a middleweight.
McIntosh whacks a bit himself and is strong and capable, but over there, he looks up against it. The home man rides out a few rough spots to clinch the title.
