There was a Jack Renault that fought out of New Jersey, or CT in the thirties, but I believe that he fought mostly at middleweight. I know that the 12/21/31 bout versus Joe Crawford wasn't the Canadian Jack Renault. I'm not for sure, but I really doubt that the other later bouts was the Canadian Renault.
