when khan has sparred pacquio it would have been the benevolent superstar using the young gun for practice working on things, khan will be competitive, but no way khan would be "beating" pacman anytime soon unless pacman allows it.

I don't give much credence to sparring session reports. You can have a large group of people who were supposedly there say one thing, while another group will tell you the exact opposite. Maybe Khan was getting the better of Pacquiao at times and out boxing him, but I don't believe for one second that he was giving him a beating--not a chance. It has also been rumored that Pacquiao dropped or knocked out Khan in sparring, so these rumors are all over the place, and the recollections are very different. If Roach his letting his guys get beat up and knocked out in sparring, he needs to have more control over them.
Has it? I haven't seen that rumour on this forum. It's really not hard for me to believe fighters getting a pasting in sparring, fighters use sparring to try moves and work on game plans etc, it's easy to see how they could get it wrong. I find it highly likely that Khan gave him a pasting, Khan is quick as eff and if Pac has a slight of day it would be easy for Khan. I just don't think these things that 'happen' in sparring actually mean anything. Like Banjo said, that bloke may well have gotten the better of PBF during a session, he wouldn't in the ring for a real fight, and neither would khan in for real with Pac.
Yes, I have read rumors on multiple forums that Khan was dropped and rocked. Like the talk that Khan is beating up Manny, it is nothing more than a rumor, as there is no evidence that it actually happened. There is a big difference between fighting defensively to try things out or having someone just get the better of you, and getting "beat up". I have heard that Pacquiao has concentrated on his defense at times and let Khan come at him, but I still have a hard time seeing him getting his ass whooped. Yes, Khan is fast, but Pacquiao is probably just as fast, and his defense and footwork have come along in the last few years. I think the sparring sessions were probably 50/50, with no one getting dominated too much. If one guy is getting pummeled, then sparring is not productive.

Manny Pacquiao has hurt fighters such as Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, De La Hoya, Hatton.

If Khan went toe-to-toe with Manny, Amir would be hurt, badly. If Maergarito can hurt & stagger Margarito, a man who is much more durable than Khan will ever be, not too mention bigger & stronger, then he can sure as daylight knock Khan out, if he chose to!

What do people expect Roach to say? He's never going to say: "Amir & Manny have sparred x-amount of times, & Amir has been taken to school each time out".
