Wright vs Bosworth.

Post by stujones »

On tonight on Sky Sports, tough fight to call. I think it will be another Robinson vs Power esque cracker.

I think possibly the younger man, Wright, might be fresher and that little bit more ambitious. However, I have learned not to write off Bosworth at this level.

Hard fight to pick.

Cuts aside this will almost certainly go the full route, with Bosworth probably not being rewarded for all his effort, however effective it may or may not be.

Bosworth will fight anyone at a drop of the hat, lost count of amount of times hes pleaded in Boxing news for fights, so hes going to be well up for this, hes tough as nails aswell, and a big underdog according to bookies, but most prob nigel on points,

Wright's got a good pedigree and has plenty of talent (two time ABA champ). BUT he has a tendency to spoil when the opponent gets close and pressures him and that's what Bosworth is all about.

Wright to win on points in a messy affair, and probably go unpunished for plenty of clinching!

Good to see Michael Hunter getting some TV exposure again. He boxes Kamel Geurfi in a 10 rounder (what, no intercontinental title ? :o ) )

I take a large slice of what I said about Nigel Wright back.

I thought he came of age against Bosworth showing a bit of everything and ran out a worthy winner.

Hunter continues to show promise, but must curb is enthusiasm a touch. The last punch was delivered when his opponent was already on the floor and seeking refuse.
