I think Michale Bent was meant to eb a tune up for Morrison when he blew him out, but then I dont recall what fight was lined up

Bentt was a tune up for a big money fight between Lennox Lewis and Morrison in late 93/early 94.

It did happen several years later but as a 'crossroads' right with reduced interest.

Baldomir-Judah and Raheem-Morales didn't even prevent the fights they were tune-ups for, though. Let's hope something similar doesn't happen with Jones-Hopkins. I was actually looking forward to that, but of course it's pointless now.

Wasn't this fight a tune up for Morales jump into the Corrales, Castillo, Freitas mix up at lightweight rather than a rematch with Pacquiao? I always thought it was.
