Willie casey relishing underdog tag as Sweeney-Tims added

Post by slapbangwhallop »

Casey starts back in training this week and his team are very confident.

Ian Tims and Michael Sweeney have been added to the bill. That will be for the Irish Cruiserweight title. This was a fight that was supposed to happen last year but Tims got injured. Maybe some will remember the "war of words" that built up between the two back then.

Nice promo video by Gorilla Productions also added to the end of the article.

We will be announcing another Irish title fight for the bill later today.

Ciaran Healy to rematch Paddy McDonagh on the Casey-Rigo undercard. This time for Healys new Irish Light Heavyweight title.

JJ McDonagh will challenge for the Irish Super-Middleweight title which will be vacated by Anthony Fitzgerald if he retains it against Lee Murtagh in January. Fitzgerald will then fight Karama Nyilawila for the WBF middleweight title.

Wow, if Fitzy is so sure of his ability why is he vacating and not facing McDonagh himself.

Think I would like to see Spike shut him up.

By the way Slappy, any news of Spike. He's been inactive quite a while now. Was expecting things to have moved much faster after he sighed with Warren.

Spike was held up because there were people with a grudge against him stirring shit and trying to put spokes in the wheels of his career.

2011 will see all that changed - a big do or die year for the Crazy Corkonian! We will all see if he deserves the hype that comes pizans is deserved.

I'm putting a few quid on Casey. I really like his attitude and demeanour. I also think he can make it double hard for Rigo and get to him late on.
It's going against form but Rigo will find things very different and more difficult in Ireland. I wouldn't be suprised if it didn't come off and was rescheduled in the States.

He won the World's in Belfast.

Rigo wont blink.

Like Casamayor, he was so poor growing up that the purse will be like 2 x lottery wins.
