Molinares controversial win over Starling was later changed to a NoContest. Don't they publicise those things? I don't remember reading aything about it. And how come Molinares kept his title anyway, you can't win it by fighting to a NC with the champion!
This fight and the aftermath of it surely must be one of the crazier episodes in boxing.
I don't have Tomas Molinares myself, but maybe someone has. There are many fights missing.

Thanks tomato,
I loaded up his 87-88 record from the Ring rags.
BTW, U have…
10-18-85 KO 8 Emiro Olivera in Cartagena
The Feb. 86 Ring p49, has TKO 4 Jose Perez on that date.
The main reason I’m asking is one of Tomas bouts in 88 is
06-16-88 KO ? Emilio Olivera in San Andres
Sept 88 Ring p53, did not include the round.
Since the name is so similar I was wondering if some record source got the wires crossed?
Do U have a reference ?
