Thierry Karl wins this in my opinion , ive only really seen a bit of him on youtube about a week ago after the fight was announced , but i really dont see mcIntosh at euro level , not that Karl seems anything special mind , so im sure it will be a close ish fight but to be honest id be a bit dissapointed with Mcitosh being euro champ , maybe if he proved his balls by fighting bellew first id consider a different view though as then maybe id think he was a bit more deserving of his shot , the chances are imo that the frenchman sees it as a fight that was a winnable one to get a belt and is probably a good bit of matchmaking on their part

If McIntosh proved his balls by fighting Bellew? I don't think he needs to prove his balls to anyone. He may have been offered the Bellew fight, but are you forgetting who Bellew's promotor is? It's gobshite's modus operandi. Offer silly terms, then when a fighter refususes, correctly IMO, then say he's avoiding your fighter.

If Tony didn't post so much on here you would be in a agreement with me.

Karl's got a couple of decent scalps in there. Took out Mohammedi (who gave Cleverly fits) in one round. Didn't see the fight, but on paper it's a cracking result.

Good luck to Mcintosh, I thought he was a bit of a tool previously but when he gave his interview after the Cleverly fight I thought he was pretty honest, just a bit of a joker really.

Given Mcintosh's power and Bellew's last two performances, Mcintosh has nothing to be scared of by entering a ring with Bellew.

McIntosh is a cocky little shite, but there's something incredibly likable about him. I hope he does well and beats Henry.

I think Danny "proved his balls" in the Cleverly fight for the British title. Now he's got a European shot why should the Commonwealth crown interest him ?

well i agree to a point , if McIntosh wins the euro title then he wont need bellew and it will be the roles reversed then , but i just cant see mcintosh at euro level , i dont see him beating bellew , when i say having the balls to fight bellew maybe i worded it wrong , what i meant was that it was the logical fight to make but he didnt , when its for a title he should do all it takes to get a shot in my opinion it just doesnt sit right with me to skip the domestic level and go straight to euro , hes not proven hes the best in britain or the commonwealth yet could be euro champ , i know its not necesarily his fault as he could have been offered crap money or something but bellew said he fancied it so did mcintosh , it should have happened , i dont see it now unless mcintosh loses or hes offered big money to defend his title against bellew

Good luck to Danny I genuinely mean that, if he wins it'll make a fight between us bigger but I'll have it known he was offered good money to fight me!! I mean good money!! I've also sdid from day 1 but both purses in and winner takes 95% with loser getting 5%. that would treble anything he's touched..

Good luck Danny Mc

I never said you kiss his arse, but plenty of people do. I'm just confused by the fact that you reckon McIntosh doesn't have the balls to face Bomber when he's faced someone who is ten-fold of him in Cleverly, and showed massive bollocks in that fight. You made it seem like Mac is scared of Tony, when I don't believe so. My sole point was not whether McIntosh is superior than domestic level, because I agree with you on that, but that if the terms were fair then I believe McIntosh would jump at the chance. Regarding your point about the Euro shot as well; I believe McIntosh is lucky to get this shot, and I haven't seen Henry so I can give a judgment on that fight. All I can do is wish him well, whether I think he'll beat Henry or not.

Bomber, why do you believe Mac turned you down? Is it because there's a hidden catch with the offer or is he just plain scared of you, in your opinion?

Because if the fight went to purse bids for the British title McIntosh would get 50%.

I thought I was on my own. I just loved his post-fight interview after the Cleverly fight, and that back-flip in the 2nd round was just.... WOW!

I think what Damien could have meant wiv having the balls to face Bellew is Cleverley aint going to knock you out with one punch, where Bellew could well do... Personally a year back id have backed Bellew to win easy ish...but now i see it as a 50/50 fight between the two.. I hope Mcintosh does win&bring another title back to the uk :TU:

billy bessey wrote:maybe promoters dont even tell all to there own fighters whats involved in offers. A few times on here promoters have said about massive offers they have given people only to be turned down. But then when the truth has come out it was at silly notice or had clauses in it when the promoter hasnt mentioned that at all. So maybe when a promoter says to hes own fighter i offered so and so £30,000 to fight you and he turned it down maybe they dont tell there fighters the ins and outs of the offer and the sly conditions of it. I really dont know how it works with the big boys but ya never know

I think somebody recently mentioned about the Eastern europeans being imported and other journeyman who use an agent/manager that a promoter might offer the agent £2000 fro a fight and the agent will go to his fighter and say will you fight on bill X for £1000 if they say yes the agent keeps the remaining £1000. Obviously the agent would be taking a fee for their service anyway but you can see how it might be exploited

Haha I went into the fight screaming for Clev to knock the cocky shit out! But by the end my alliances had moved, and the interview

Don't worry, I'm with you guys as well. Posted straight after the fight that I thought Mcintosh was brilliant in his interview - very humble and happy to take the p*ss out of himself. Also loved the flip back to his feet!
