Because if the fight went to purse bids for the British title McIntosh would get 50%.
Ahh I see, all I can say mate is he won't be made a better offer domestically and he wouldn't get more at a purse bid, as for the question of why do I think he isn't fighting me?? He done an interview with a journalist after He beat Oakey and he stated he didn't wanna fight me, I don't believe he's scared for 1 min as I don't know a fighter who is scared of anyone, I just believe his confidence is not the same since the Clev fight and I also believe he doesn't believe in himself like he used to but eh that's just my opinion and like everyone elses it doesn't mean nought.. ;)

God damn, Bomber. You come across sound on here. Perhaps his confidence was dented, but then he did go in against Oakey who was still a domestic force... well before the fight anyway. But one thing's for sure; your promotor can be sly with contracts and offers.

He may have been offered the Bellew fight, but are you forgetting who Bellew's promotor is? It's gobshite's modus operandi. Offer silly terms, then when a fighter refususes, correctly IMO, then say he's avoiding your fighter.

If Tony didn't post so much on here you would be in a agreement with me.

Errmm ..... No ... I Wouldnt , ive never kissed anyones arse on here and never will , if i rate them or not makes no odds to what they do or say on here , i never said i thought bellew was a world beater , and ill state for the record i dont believe hes more than domestic level at least at this point in his career but nor do i think mcintosh is any better
I never said you kiss his arse, but plenty of people do. I'm just confused by the fact that you reckon McIntosh doesn't have the balls to face Bomber when he's faced someone who is ten-fold of him in Cleverly, and showed massive bollocks in that fight. You made it seem like Mac is scared of Tony, when I don't believe so. My sole point was not whether McIntosh is superior than domestic level, because I agree with you on that, but that if the terms were fair then I believe McIntosh would jump at the chance. Regarding your point about the Euro shot as well; I believe McIntosh is lucky to get this shot, and I haven't seen Henry so I can give a judgment on that fight. All I can do is wish him well, whether I think he'll beat Henry or not.

Whos this Henry guy you speak of :DD , pretty obvious who your confusing but i found it amusing

Character doesn't come across on a keyboard. So although the 'Bomber' comes across sound on here, he sounds a right knob, in and after fights!

I'm sorry mate but i believe your a hype job and the part is you believe in it!

At best your a british level fighter and that is some achievment in anyones life! I've seen you fight both am and pro but to talk the way you talk, anyone would think you were the second coming!

You were dreadfull in your last two fights and everyone knows it. No disrespect to ovil but he is a gatekeeper (i know that does sound disrespectfull but you know what i'm saying) and you were found out!

I hope you have a long and fruitfull career and it provides well for your kids but i have yet to be sucked in by the 'Bomber' hype!

You should watch it, if only to enjoy Mohammadi's 'poor mans Naz' entrance and then his Judah like chicken dance and post fight protestations. Hilarious.

Mohammedi really is a plonker.

Wasn't Sweeney rumoured to be fighting Karl last year, Slap?

Yeah he was, hence the reason I knew quite a bit of Mohammedi prior to the Cleverly fight and was surprised by how good he was in that fight considering how late he took it.

Myself and Lee Murtagh had flights booked to Marseille as well. But Sweeney tore ligaments in the week before the fight. Gutted.

You mean when he's full of adrenaline and hyped up after winning? When he posts on here here is going to be more considered than immediatley after a fight and can be more reflective. If someone were to try and knock your block off in front of your family and friends and hundreds of thousands of telly watchers you'd not be the most rational either.

I don't think that I've met anyone who's ever done something out of the ordinary that did not have some self assurance/confidence/arrogance. And to be honest it is only those among us that haven't done F all that see it as arrogance, (IMO)

Thanks for that, gents. Loving the "I'm OK" argument he tries to make a full minute after he got stopped, his legs had gone and were still jelly at the end of the count. Good stoppage. Hard to tell to much about Karl from that but if nothing else he looked solid and must have a good dig.

Cracking night of British boxing this one...... hello Premiersports / Primetime.

I would actually pay 10 quid for this bill, the Matthews vs Lawton bill and then finish off with Holyfield vs Williams.

I saw Carl Johansson is fighting Akash Bhatia - wow brave match for FTM. Could be the end of the road for the loser.

Well, i was at the gym on Friday and spoke to Danny Mac about this issue. The truth is this:

* FW Promotions have made an offer for him to fight Bellew

* The offer was £12,000 cash or a cash-plus-tickets deal that would have involved Danny having to spend a lot of time selling tickets when he should be training and preparing

* The offer also included a clause that would give FW Promotions a two fight option deal on him

* He is making more from the Euro title fight than he would have done from the Bellew fight and the first option fight combined plus if he wins he gains a prestigious belt and progresses his world ranking

Danny has a lot of respect for Bellew but, as Bomber says above, he is a brave fighter who would relish the challenge and gives himself a good chance of success. He wanted to put the record straight on here.

He is certainly not scared of Bomber and i think that he proved his balls by taking on Cleverly, who has since proved himself to be borderline world class. But although he would like to box Bomber in the future i am sure everyone reading the facts listed above will agree - the Euro title fight makes much more sense at the moment whilst the terms to fight Bellew remain the same.

Personally, I am surprised that FWP asked for options because I thought they would have more confidence in their man.

Don't worry, I'm with you guys as well. Posted straight after the fight that I thought Mcintosh was brilliant in his interview - very humble and happy to take the p*ss out of himself. Also loved the flip back to his feet!
Gotta agree and he's talented enough, just a shame he seemed so inactive after the cleverly fight though this will make up for it.

If that is really the offer and I have no reason to assume its not then I cannot blame McIntosh for turning it down, if that is what FW calls a good offer then its not
surprising that a lot of the fights that we all want don't get made, despite "good offers" being made.

Surprised to hear this really as people had said McIntosh was made a great offer, it would appear that was clearly not the case.

i should clarify that this is the offer as reported to me, i do not claim to have seen the actual contract offer in hard copy (if such a thing even exists).

if this is incorrect i am sure a representative from FWP will clarify, i understand that they do very occassionally monitor what is written on these boards.

Good point Horse.

We have a quote from McIntosh on what he was offered. Bellew has consistently stated that McIntosh turned down a huge amount for this fight. On the grounds of transparency, how much were you offered Bomber ?
