It explains why those two are not eligible for selection. Its actually a very informed list, but someone is bound to disagree that Frampton is NOT British!(sorry!).

Another 12 months or so and there'll be loads know who you are without you trying to make a splash with your gob. :TU:

Another one I rated was Michael McGuire, not sure what happened to him. He was well schooled fast and powerful. He'd still do well.

Liam; What you just said shows that you have kept your feet on the ground and have some perspective. You have loads of hard work to do to get up there but some of the top amateurs are very very good lads. There are probably 10 prospects at Middle but anyone nuetral would have to put a national amateur champ and unbeaten in 7 pros as a decent prospect.

From Kettering where I live, rumoured to have gotten in trouble for bottling somebody in peterborough whilst taking a year out, could be hearsay though

Decent enough list! I think Davey Savage JR could have a breakthrough year in 2011 possibly a British title. Frampton has so much potential but is in a really good division, though I wouldn't be surprised if he won some sort of title this year. I'm not convinced on Walsh yet though he showed heart and skills against the Ghanain but I would like to see him in with someone like Truscott or Appelby to see how good he really is. Should be a good year domestically.

From the limited amount I know about The Jackal Mickey, he is from a unionist background/area so would presumably consider himself as British as warm beer and cricket - for this reason I would hope that particular old can of worms will stay well and truly unopened!

Irrespective of anything else, for my money he might be the best prospect on that list - he can really fight.

Probably because BoxRec has him down as a middleweight.

Because he's fought everyone of his fights between 154-160 (except for 1). Although he CAN make 154 he hasn't yet.

I would definitely have Price as a better prospect than Dallas at heavy and out of the Heffron brothers, from the limited amount I have seen of them, I would have Ronnie down as the better prospect at this stage..
