I never got a boxing news last week and this weeks copy hasnt arrived yet either. That is five consecutive weeks were my BN magazine has been late by at least a week. I am going to give it until the end of the month to see if the distribution improves, it is a good job there have been no fights on the past month as I would have definitely cancelled it by now.

I got last weeks one this week - a day after I should have got this weeks one (Friday). Still no sign of this weeks.

I got the 6 January edition yesterday, which is when it usually arrives, so I'm happy with that.
BUT, I'm still waiting for the Christmas issue.
I'll be on the phone to BN on Monday.

BTW, I think the xmas issue was the last one for 2010.
They do 50 a year, but a double at xmas and Easter.

Just to put things into context, a copy of Private Eye was sent to me on December 17th and I only got it a few days ago.

I got the Xmas one a day late, surprisingly, but the latest one arrived a day late again. I rang them up and gave the poor bird a right earful, I was a bit rude and felt bad about it after. It has happened more often than not though.

Exactly. Give these feckless mail-carriers a week or two more to sort themselves out as we are at their mercy (like you are). We are giving them a verbal shellacking but they say they have a huge backlog. On our side, we have been putting the digital issue online for subscribers – I know it's not the same but aside from personally hand-delivering each and every issue myself (a Boris bike only goes so far) that's the best I got.

Exactly the same late for the last 4-5 weeks. Really frustrating when the mag arrives with build up to a fight and it has already been fought.

Ridiculous situation. I subscribe and got last Thursday's issue through the post today, so little chance of rtoday's issue turning up for a while.

You can tell from Tony's comment, Boxing Chat (or whatever your name is this week), that Royal Mail are clearly at fault here. Why don't you ring us BC (sure you have our number) and we'll make sure you get a copy?

Must say that mine has been turning up on time during this period, no problems at all. I'm in London, could it be down to postal areas? Whatever, this looks like a postal service problem rather than a BN problem — mine wouldn't have been arriving on time if BN weren't sending it out on time.
