Before anyone comments on this, please note that each poster is allowed to remain anonymous if they wish and we should assume this is the case for this scenario. I will not prpvidemore detail off or on the forum. Those that know the score here know exactly what Im getting at.

Failure to abide will result in a smacked bum.

I would have thought nothing of it were it not for Ponceys message. Presumably Andy posts on here then.

I thought it was a genuine question too. I've never heard of Andy Ayling or his promotional outfit so was hoping someone would shed some light.

Who cares. The last thing British Boxing needs is another promoter.

How many have we got?

id say quite the opposite , the more promotors there is the more boxing there is , it has a knock on effect , boosting the popularity of the sport , if the sports more popular then tv companies want it on there channels , more money available to promotor , etc etc etc , i have no problem with how many promotors there is in the slightest , its if they start putting on garbage shows its a problem , but for a small hall promotor (not saying thats what this guy is as i dont know) if they put on poor shows they will go bust wont they .

I must say this is all very interesting ... presumably, this Ayling character is backed by some decent capital, too, if he's in there bidding for a fight like this.

A new big hitter on the promotional scene! Great news for boxing - and when there's promotors competing against each other then it's always the fans that win!

Exciting times ahead.
