A poster I truly miss.......very informative, humble, civil, educated and generous with his thoughts. R.I.P. TC.
Not sure who started this thread back in 2002, but TC answered the question. And since we were talkin' recently about how Monzon seemed to dominate Galindez in sparring, I'd agree with his assessment.
I'd appreciate this thread being populated by only civil discourse period. Sort of in tribute to an inspiring former poster.
We've chatted recently about weight "specialists"......like Hagler, and Monzon vs the weight "jumpers". By the way, I think the fighters that stayed put.....Tzyu being an example, may have made that choice for financial reasons, sentimental reasons.....or pure happenstance, by perhaps never having an offer on the table that suited them to either beef up or pare down.
