Ricky Hatton Profile on Sky

Post by Manos de Oro »

Those highlights basically confirmed what I've been thinking about this fight: Hatton is out of his league and is in heavy danger of getting outclassed.

What about his house, though? Gotta wonder if he'd have all that if he wasn't with Allegedly...

Only gripe is that they should have had a bit more on Tsyzu, but then again it was a Ricky Hatton profile.

Im going to watch it tomorrow, I have it recorded. Was there any signs of major nerves from Hatton or what did you see?

It's OLLLLLLLD.

Sky have regurgitated an old documentary about Hatton. With a few new excerpts about Tszyu.

Geez Sky, you really seem bothered about this one.

pudenda.

Ah balls, I know the one your talking about, I have it from before. They showed him in his old training haunt below the pub etc, I think it was made about end of 2001 if Im right. At least they edited Tszyu into it  , well done Sky!!! :TU:

And there's me expecting a whole profile made on the build up of Hatton getting ready for Tszyu, as in the last few months etc.

Yeah, it was from about December 2001. It's scary though, because you see Hatton at the Tsyzu - Judah fight and he looks the exact same as now. Worth watching I suppose if you're unfamiliar with Hatton's personailty - maybe Showtime should run it. They could do with dubbing over Adam Smith, though... How irritating is that pronunciation...

Agree with Southpaw on the coverage overall. Maybe it's just keeping in line with how their boxing coverage has went over the past year or two, but they definately haven't pushed/hyped this one the way it could have been. Could be they simply don't have confidence in Ricky's chances.

a house like that, which didnt look that impressive from its fronatge, it didnt look like a decent plot, wouldnt cost very much at all.

As i have said in the past, it doent really matter what the house you live in is like, its the ones you own but dont live in that genereate you income.

What the house you live in is worth is to some extent irrelevant, because you cant generate income from it while you live in it, although you can borrow against it.

I bet Hatton owns a couple of other properties, up there, I've just sold one in Hyde myself, The Theatre Royal.

Like anything else a house is only worth what somebody else is willing to pay for it.
