I've always got other fights booked but with my heart hundred percent into this , I've got to fancy my chances , in my mind I'm the best journeyman in the country. But then, I would say that. I just saw ed Robinson at the peacock gym , he said he'd mention it to Eddie hearn. The only thing he said he's worried about would be some of us going into survival mode. I dissagreed, it couldn't be no worse than the last heavyweight shower. Here,s hoping they repay us and put some faith into us. Boxing owes us I Think

It weren't the best you'd boxed but a loss isn't the end of the world, least it's not put you off + Peter's lost more than he's won. It shows you a record can be deceiving, he can box and he knows just when the round is coming to an end and what to do. To be honest he looked to have a decent dig as well.

The only problem would be would the fighters go into survival mode? what im thinking is journeymen fight purely for cash and prizefighter quarter finalists get 4k so would the lads think f*ck it ill do three rounds easy 4k.

I'm not trying to knock this idea down cos i think it would be great, thats the only thing that we dont want to happen.

What do u guys think ?

cant talk for the others mate but do the math 32k is a lot better then 4k!!! im sure every1 of us would give it our all to win the tournament

Mostly these guys are journeymen who have forgotten how to win and just survive. There is a chance that as soon as they hurt each other they will go into survival mode and it could make worse TV than the recent heavyweight one

no chance!!! each journey man will know its a even stevens match, this im sure would bring out the best in each and every1 uv got guys who can actually fight a bit in that list altho im not sure wed see any ko.s as most of that list hav good defences and cracking chins!!! ovreall ud hav 8 pumped up journey man giving it 110% personally its a kristian laight vs jonny boy greaves final for me!!!

Im definately up for it if it ever comes to fruition.if all jourymen box for is for money then i cant see how people think we'd go in to survival mode because with Prizefighter there's that magic ingredient i think boxing lacks the most.(INCENTIVE TO WIN).Believe me and i think i speak for all the others when i say this,if winning a fight means im getting a few grand more then i'm giving it 110%.Everyone always bangs on about how boxing wouldn't survive without journeymen so i dont think it would be too much to ask for one night for the lads.

P.S "Greavesy" i'd piss it anyhow so dont get too confident if it comes off lol

i've noticed this threads gone a bit quiet.its no good havin a week or so bangin on about it then lettin it go stale.it'll just get forgotten about again.if we're tryin to convince people we can actually fight then we gonna look like idiots if we just give up and walk away and give the doubters a reason to call us bums etc
