Me too.

Premier should now look at getting Donaire - Montiel, assuming Sky don't pick it up

Terrible, terrible, terrible business decision if they paid to screen this.

Definitely, he may be a name but I doubt this will get new subscribers flocking to the channel.

Whats going on with friday night fights, first Premier sports said they had it and now I have heard they don't?

As for Bradley-Alexander, I really hope this is on Sky, should be a great fight

"premier sports" on their facebook page (I imagine someone working with the company) was written in public that it isn't a good fight - so I imagine it came cheap cheap cheap.

Well it is less attractive than Holyfield vs Botha to the casual fan, and primetime only charged 6 quid for that PPV - so I would imagine Primetime got it for very little.... given how that bombed in the states - both in terms of PPV buys and seats (I never thought I would see Holyfield fight in front of a half full tiny venue like that) this probably came cheap.

Any boxing is better than no boxing at all. For me this WSB thing doesn't really count, cause I am not sure what sport that is.... its not Amateur, and its not proffessional. Buy purchasing this on the cheap at least it shows they are still interested in boxing (after the disasterous PR that is the ESPN deal!). It also helps dispell rumours that they are on the verge of going under.

I'm getting tired of the repeats of Bute vs Brinkley. They haven't shown many repeat showings of Limond vs Morales. Would rather that. Or can't they get delayed rights to some of these fights that have been?

Very very amateur. The rumour is that ESPN quite rightly decided that it would look bad that a rival sport channell buy the rights to something with ESPN in the title.

Bad news all around really, only means more subscription (if you want ESPN FNF) and it really highlights the interest the UK leg of the ESPN channel have in boxing - if they were prepare to flog their own product.

I wonder if Sky just have the "option" to show this fight based on an existing deal.... there is a distinct difference between Sky showing it and sky have the rights to show it.

I pray they show it.

Would be great for them as a way to sell Khan meeting one (or both) of them later on. I even explained the title situation to the wife and as a Khan fan she now wants to see it!!!
