In the Boxing News accounts on Lindo's fights that I looked through for the years 1959 thru 1965, in all the accounts but two, they refered to Lindo as from Jamaica. One account in the October 4, 1963 issue it said Lindo was from Trinidad. The May 10, 1963 issue said he was from Nigeria? Everything said Jamaica. I don't have Boxing News earlier than 1959. Did he in fact come from Tinidad and at some point move to Jamaica as to why the Boxing News that I looked in called him to be from there?

In the Jamaican papers circa 1955, Lindo is said to be from Spanish Town, Jamaica.
