for the record i've seen kotelnik fight on a number of occassions and he is a good fighter and definitely would outpoint any of hattons previous opponents eg tackie,phillips, at the respective times of their careers when hatton fought them . Upto now its got to be said hatton has fought good NAMES not necessarily good fighters. Heck he could fight sugar ray leonard now and beat him doesnt mean he s been in a tough fight. But i still think hatton could give tszyu some problems but its a shame he's never been in a genuine 50/50 match up but props for fighting tszyu.

Kotelnik is VERY good and I agree with you that he would beat Hattons oponents, but then you have people like J taking the piss saying, "oh, whos Junior fighting? The TERRIFYING Kotelnik!", well, what can I say to that biased crap? I think we both know.

i just typed out a long reply but i cant be bothered to go on to be honest. Suffice to say kotnelijk is not top ten and ricky is going in with the best light welter in the world thats not biased thats a fact.

all i know is im not the one calling fighters cowards and promoters (whom you havent even met) wankers every other post.

suggest you and i steer clear of one anothers posts in order to keep the status quo in the forum.

Yes, I have also said that I respect ANY fighter who gets in the ring and no fighter is a coward, but Hatton has acted cowardly and has made a fool of himself, plain and simple. I DID call Hatton a coward for not fighting Witter and etc, but if you had the mental capacity to do some paradigm thinking (thinking outside the box), you could analyse the comment and see that it was a cowardly ACTION I was taking heed with. For me, Junior Witter is very arrogant and overrates himself very much. I would back Ricky Hatton to beat him any day of the week! As for Witter saying he is going after Mayweather, Tszyu and Cotto..... don't make me laugh, Junior would be defeated by all of them.

Mayweather would give him a boxing lesson, if Tszyu landed cleaning, it would be good night Mr Witter, and I believe Cotto to be an all-round better fighter. Do not get me wrong, Junior is up there, but a bit humbeness from him would be nice.
