Hatton just weighed in 4 ounces under the limit, Tszyu 3 ounces over.
No big deal, but a small advantage perhaps?

I remember Carlos DeLeon struggeling to make the weight once against Sammy Reeson of the UK (I Think?). So he shaved his hair off!
And won the fight. :(

Anybody know of other fighters who failed weigh in by such a little amount? 16 ounces is 1 pound so Tszyu failed to make weight by less than 1/5th of a pound!!

Didn't Hagler fail the weight first time against Alan Minter?
....And then win the fight.

Is it true he didn't even strip to try and make the weight? Sounds like that would have done it

Lets hope for Hattons sake Tszyu is very constipated and uses up a lot of energy making a donation to the underwater sausage factory.
I have a picture in my mind now that I didn't really want.

They're arguing on whether he made it or not second time!

I just read that Hatton weighed in at exactly 140lbs, not 4oz under the limit. Tszyu made weight at his second attempt, bang on 140lbs.
Should we draw much into the fact that Kostya has obviously found it hard to make weight?

I don't think he's found it hard to make weight, he's just misjudged it slightly. 3 ounces is absolutely nothing.

have to say Hatton looks a lot less gaunt around the face than usual... which suggests he has made weight much better than usual!!!
Dont worry about either of them there weights were fine

As the fight is with Showtime, will there be a weight check on fight night? I know it does not really matter, but it would be interesting to know what they both weigh come fight night?

somebody needs to tell Ricky to trim his bush. thigh pubs are not cool. well maybe in Manchester. I personally think Ricky is still a virgin.
yeah, that weigh in looked kind of gay, with no room for anyone to stand.
