Re: Boxing Blogs
Very good idea for a blog! That judging was an absolute embarrassment how Ramirez even came close to winning that fight is beyond me, I had it 117-111 and there were 1 close round that I gave to Ramirez! I honestly can't see more than 3 rounds that JLR could of won!
Re: Boxing Blogs
i did a bit or research on here and saw you scored it 117-11 im sure it was in the boxers of the past section.alexpaterson wrote:Very good idea for a blog! i watch alot of fights and can get most on the internet. i also buy career sets from a guy in manchester so i can add the fights from the past aswell.
cheers again
Re: Boxing Blogs
I seem to recall that Harry Gibbs was one of the judges and voted for Whitaker - but not by much.
Re: Boxing Blogs
I like blogs except when they get absolute tossers writing them like Boxing News 24.

Re: Boxing Blogs
The greatest boxing blog of all time was www.boxingwriter.co.uk of course, in my objective, impartial opinion, but the tool who wrote it is one lazy mofo.
Re: Boxing Blogs
It's a nice blog, Bob, with plenty of evidence to support your claim. I will say that Ramirez was robbed years earlier against Alexis Arguello and these things tend to even themselves out.

Haha yes! Regardless of levels, it did spring to mind as one of the most talked-about decisions in all my time following boxing.mickey1975 wrote:Your putting Henry and Fidel in good company there mate!oliverfennell wrote:I was going to a BOTP thread about this very thing, so interesting to see a blog about it.
