KOSTA TSZYU V RICKY HATTON - FINAL PREDICTIONS

Post by Boxingmad »

It's gonna be a cracker. I haven't sampled this kind of atmosphere since Benn V McClellan in 1995, when the waiting was unbearable. Same this time round. Can't wait.

I see a war, and Tszyu hurt, but prevailing round about the eighth. Cuts could be a factor in Hatton's case as well. Wonder how the ref will deal with it, as Hatton's renowned for bleeding.

More or less agree, a war with Tszyu on the verge of "going" (in Adam Smith's words) and prevailing with a cuts win around nine...but i hope Hatton can do the business.

I doubt Hatton will ever be stopped on a cut on a Sports Network promotion. I doubt he could ever be cut as badly as he was against Thaxton and that wasn't stopped.

It upsets be but I have to say Zoo TKO round 4.

The nearer the fight gets, the more I beleive Hatton has a chance. Everything I watch and read e.g interviews of both Hatton and Zoo. Hatton looks confident and looking foward to the fight where Zoo seems nervous and shaky which shows in his voice. Everytime I have seen Zoo before a fight I have never seen him in this way.

Still not convinced though, all you have to do is watch 5 Ricky Hatton fights and 5 Kostya fights and you know who should have this fight in the bag.

Im still getting behind the loveable Manc. Come on Ricky! :box:

I dont think Tszyu is any different and certainly not nervous. Maybe its the pigeon english that gives that impression?

Hatton win by TKO late rounds.

Or Hatton stoped by bad cutts, but ahead on points & wont get the rematch which he will deserve :TU:

Zoo before the end of the fourth. If by some fluke this doesn't happen, then Hatton win between 7 and 11. Who said I'm hedging my bets???

Virtualy all the UK press are going for Hatton on points. Half of them are football writers so doesn't mean a helluva lot I guess.

Tszyu wins TKO9. Both cut and hurt in an intense encounter.

But this fight is not beyond Ricky, he's looking good as zero hour approaches...

Need any help getting those splinters out of your arse mate?

Are all the UK press really going for Hatton? Haven't bought todays papers or boxing news yet.

Yep, just had a flick thru at newsagents. All adding the phrase - assuming Hatton survives the opening rounds.
