A fighter to look out for ....Brett Jeffrey

Hi fellow boxing followers,

Look out for the current Sunstate Australian Boxing League Qld Heavy weight Champion Brett Jeffrey, A former AFL player this 6"3 powewrhouse has now committed full time to a boxing career.
With only 2 fights under his belt against fighters of similar experience Brett stepped up in Mackay last year and beat experienced (18 fights?) Mick Boyden of Charters Towers in the first night and then went into the finals against two times League Australian Champion Scott Mohoney of Yungaburra.
The fight wasnt even close with Brett winning every round and taking the State Championship in his 4th fight.

Will be looking to match him in 4 to 6 ameteur bouts and then consider punching for pay.

Brett did not attend the National titles in Hobart due to a rib injury, and with his absence the National title was won again by Scott Mohoney, I have no doubt if Brett was able to compete he would hae beaten Scott even more comphrensively the second time - and for the National title.

This fighter is something special remember the name Brett Jeffrey, you will be hearing in more often in the future.
