Foreman vs Marciano, Frazier vs Tyson, Johnson vs Walcott

Post by BrocktonBlockbuster49 »

Foreman vs Marciano- This is a matchup that in my opinion will end in only two ways, Foreman by Early TKO, or Maricano by late round KO. No one that came in on george foreman survived and Foreman was icnredibly strong with a tremendous uppercut and great swarmer and Marciano a bit past his prime was knocked down on an upper cut by moore so He will have to survive thos torrid first two rounds or else hes gone. Can he do it?? thats where the heart, chin, and stamina will kick in. Marciano was never really hurt but each knockdown he rose up and just got angrier and i think he would get up from a foreman knockdown and if his heart and game plan (which charley goldman will help with) keeps him in the fight past 5, foreman will be finished and marciano will take over wearing foreman dow nand his incredible stamina will take him as far as he can go and marciano has the power to take foreman out. Also foreman is susceptible to a right and if marciano lands clean, foremans gone. Marciano unlike frasier can hit with both hands and he wont be bobbing and weaving like fraiser. I say either Foreman TKO 2 or Marciano KO 10

Frasier vs Tyson- Tyson had such quick hands and joe will have to be careful. IF joe can survive his uppercut and land lots of body blows and take the fight away from tyson and stand up to him joe will win the fight on points or by knockout. I have to go with Tyson TKO 3 though cause i think tyson will get him.

Jack Johnson vs Walcott- in my opinioon two of the best defensive heavywegithts. DOnt count out walcott. he was very smart and can take johnson out with one punch. this will probably be a boring fight but johnson is a big guy and strong but walcotts strong too. the winner of this fight will be the one who becomes more agressive in the end. Ill take Johnson 15 close decision but I can see walcott winning also.

I've seen more fights of Tyson and only few rounds of the other fighters beside Foreman and Frazier.

I think it will be very difficult for Foreman to ko Marciano early. I like to comment more on this fight but havn't seen a full fight of Marciano to see how he works round by round.

I agree Tyson beats Frazier, in my opinion Tyson is physiclly stronger and punches just a hard or more so then Frazier.

Johnson and Walcott. Again both these fighters were tough and skilled fighters but I havn't seen a full fight of either. In clips I've seen Johnson he can be slow and taunt his opponent, then jump like a lion on his opponet and knock him out. Walcott is good boxer, sneaker uppercut, very tough fight to call. Im not sure about who would win.

Foreman KO2 Marciano . . if Rocky was quicker and had developed a better defense I'd give him a real shot at outlasting Foreman but alas the guy was vulnerable early just like Frazier but was slower then Frazier and didn't move his head as much.

Frazier-Tyson- If Joe had Eddie Futch in his corner, I'd say Frazier TKO 9, as Futch would get Frazier to fight Mike the same way he did Foreman early on in their rematch . . more boxing and less swarming. Joe could then start to smoke in the later rounds and outwork Tyson. If Frazier doesn't do that and just swarms out, Tyson TKO 3.

Walcott was a great technician but his cutesy act would be exposed by a master like Johnson, who could detect any defensive weakness you had and counter punch you silly. A fascinating matchup but Jack would KO Walcott around the 13th.

Rocky didnt have to move his head, he was in a crouch and he got really low and Fraziers style of bobbing and weaving is made for guys like foreman and liston. Marciano but the way is not as slow as u think he is with his hands. Rocky threw that Suzie Q pretty fast and I can see Marciano Landing that Punch on foreman.

Foreman should beat Rocky, if he was allowed to push his opponent illegally around the ring ala Frazier/norton.

Tyson and Frazier would be a stunning battle with Tyson i think winning via late stoppage.

No comment on the other mythical bout.

Im pretty sure if frazier tyson went to late rounds Frazier would win the fight . I think mike is most deadly in the early rounds and if frasier shows he can take mikes punces and still push mike back, mike will get frustrated and frasier will hold the edge mentally and fraiser is always in excellent condition so IF the fight went into later rounds, Frazier will win.

Marciano beats "young" George in 6-10, depending how brave george really was. Frazier came in forward- look at the Rock. Weight back, head back. Underrated jab would disrupt foreman, he'd hit the body and when George reached (and he would) there was the right... Tyson at 20-Douglas was faster of hand and foot than Frazier, better defensively, and a harder puncher, not to mention a two handed puncher. Replay the "fight" with Marvis, and 2-3min. After Douglas, who knows? Johnson and Walcott, properly motivated, could turn in a very exciting non-contact bout then, for real money, wage war. Favor Johnson in that. By the way, all that was meant as compliments and with great admiration of the skills of Johnson and Walcott

I think George Foreman would knock out Rocky Marciano early. Sure he had great heart and brought it, but George feasted on fighters that fought the style of Marciano. In fact, he destroyed them. Then there is the size factor. George in 2 rounds.

Tyson was too fast and furious for Frazier. Tyson would knock him out early. In terms of speed Frazier couldn't touch Tyson.

Johnson by split decision over Walcott.

zslayton marciano was different than frazier. Marciano didnt bob in weave. HE fought in a crouch and had a lot quicker hands than people thought. He also could throw power in short crisp punches like louis and UNLIKE FRAZIER, MARCIANO HAD POWER IN BOTH HANDS. CHARLEY GOLDMAN WOULD HAVE PREPARED MARCIANO WELL FOR TIS FIGHT, AND I THINK ROCKYS TOUGHNESS IS SO INCREDIBLE AND HE WOULD RATHER DIE THAN LOSE A FIGHT. I SEE HIM SURVIVING THE EARLY ROUNDS AND LANDING HARD TO FOREMANS BODY AND HEAD THEN KNOCKING OUT FOREMAN LATER ON WITH A RIGHT. MARCIANO HAS SO MUCH CONFIDENCE AND A WARRIORS MENTALITY. HE CANT BE INTIMIDATED FOR BULLIED. i ALSO THINK TYSON WHO HAS MORE POWER THAN GEORGE WILL KNOCK OUT GEORGE CAUSE ONCE HE HITS FORMEMAN , FOREMANS GONE.

I see where you are coming from Brockton, but IMO I think a fight between Marcian and Foreman or Foreman and Tyson would both end up like the Foreman/Lyles fight.
