Oisin Fagan on the comeback trail

Post by johnswan1 »

How far can he go? I like Oisin, I think he's a great little fighter, one with lots of heart and a high work rate. He was unlucky with what happened in the Khan fight where he broke his leg, but still would have been out of his depth as he was too short on power. His best performances on paper were probably two of his losing efforts - one came against Chavez Jr in a fight he narrowly lost over four rounds early in both of their careers at 136 lbs, while the other was a split decision loss against unbeaten Paul Spadafora at Light Welter (a weight he is far too small for) with one of the judges having him winning by a round. I've love to see him get a crack in the next Lightweight Prizefighter as I know it's something he'd love to do.

Can I just say, I wish oisin all the very best with he's comeback. What a tuff lad, and on top of that a genuinely nice guy. He's probably the hardest man I shared a ring with. All the best pal!
