opponents for khan are running out

Post by boxerbob »

will he be forced to fight the only guy that wants to fight him in bredis prescott??

and

are amir khan and his team avoiding a fight with prescott???

why wont he give prescott a rematch??? surely he wants to avenge that loss and with his popularity from the maidana fight the fight will be very big news here in the uk.

its a strange one considering everybody thiks that khan will easily beat prescott

THE FIGHT WOULD SELL OUT THE MEN ARENA EASY

maybe Roach etc think Prescott is stylistically all wrong for Khan. Also the fact that Prescott's lost twice since then (including being outclassed by Kevin Mitchell, who in turn got ko'd by Katsidis) takes a bit of credibility away from the Columbian.

Personally I'd like to see it happen again, and I think it would do well both sides of the pond cos it's got the "man who beat Khan" selling point.

Think Khan's come a long way since then though so it would prob be fairly one-sided, and Khan's since proven that he can take a dig by surviving Maidana's big shots.

lamon petterson , mcCloskey , now john murray

ortiz is fighting berto

but still no mention of prescott???????

everybody but prescott , i think khan is beginning to lose a little bit of credibility by going after anybody that aint the guy that knocked him out.

kham vs murray is never a ppv but khan vs prescott is because of the history between them

Khan needs a keep busy fight, it doesn't necessary need to be on Ppv as he'll get a really big unification fight with the winner of Bradley/Alexander (hopefully) in his next fight. I would like to see Peterson or maybe Urango someone decent and tough!

yeah, course it will. i mean it's not like for the first fight they had the top tier of the MEN closed off, or anything.

His "Box-office" date was the reason that Haye-Klitschko couldn't fight in April, so I assume it will definitely be box-office regardless of opponent.

I think Khan has a contract with Sky to be on PPV, so it will definitely be on PPV.

Khan v Prescott has an angle and would capture the interest of the general public, so it would do well in sales IMO.

yeah i think it might happen. khan would win in under 5 imo, maybe in 3. Prescott wont take the body shots khan dropped maidana with.

Because GBP are only looking for a keep-busy fight for Khan until he (hopefully) fights the winner of Bradley/Alexander. Prescott and Khan have previous and it would do well in PPV.
