You could see it on Sky. Watch the end of the third in that far right of the screen Brodie doubles over on the way back to his corner. Then you get a shot of Harrison and his dad looking over.

Were you watching on Showtime? If so what was the American reaction please?

Nah, I was watching on Sky. I actually saw the same thing you guys are talking about - wanted the between rounds to see what Brodie was like in the corner (try and get a hint of the mental affect it had had on him).

Ah got ya. That fight was very winnable for Brodie, he was well on top in the second and third round.

Agreed, he was showing some of the old class with his punches, particularly in the third - a result of taking Scott right out it in the second. Didn't expect him to go so early, but I think if this fight had've been a few years ago he would've gotten up and carried on. Even in his prime, though, he'd need to be so dilligent with how he would fight Harrison.

Anyone know what the WBO rules are for low blows? I was watching one of the fights on BEN the other week and they said in Mexico fighters get 5 minutes to recover from a low blow, so they normally stay down...but in America the ref starts the 10 count straightaway even if a boxer is put down with a low blow.

It was academic anyway, very sad to see Brodie joining the list of top British fighters who never held a top world title. Hopefully he is OK and signed off with a decent payday. 8)
