I will fight khan at catch weight! special K

Post by special K »

Before everybody starts to ask’ yes this is Kell brook.
I would like to thank all the people on here who believe in me’ and all the others that will.
I see that Amir Khan is struggling to find a British opponent that will fight him for peanuts’ Look no further’ I am here’ Quote I will fight him for whatever he wants to pay me ( if anything) but at catch weight. That means he can keep his belt and the money. Let’s see who is the best boxer’ Ppv would love it ‘as I am the best in Britain at around his weight. So there you have it problem solved. No issues’ He can have the lot. Let’s see who the best fighter is. :TU:

Wow I could be replying to a real pro, or a Nigerian scammer sat in a cafe in Lagos.

I don't get any boxer who says they will fight someone for nothing. Can I ask how much does it cost to train (properly) for say 6 weeks, thats training for say a world title.

How can anyone say they can put that money up without anything back? other than they are a millionaire and dont need the cash. also what about long term injury, lets say that the boxer suffers damages that keep him out of the game for a year or 2 or worse for ever.

I hate it when a boxer starts shouting, 'ill fight you for nuttin' when you know this will not happen.
BTW im not slagging anyone off, either vboxer or Nigerian scammer sat in a internet cafe in Lagos

To me that shows the level of confidence the boxer has that he will beat his opponent. Kind of like when Zab Judah fought Cory Spinks the second time round. For a fight of that magnitude he got peanuts but he knew he had the beating of Spinks and he also knew by beating Spinks and picking up all the belts, big paydays would follow. So it's a case of take a paycut now and if you win, reap the rewards later.

Ps Good look to you Kell in getting the fight but I can't see Khan's team taking the fight. Too big a risk for too little a reward, especially with a unification fight round the corner.

Obviously i'm on the outside, but wouldn't Frank have a big say in accepting or declining an offer, Kell?

To be more direct, I don't have much faith in Frank's willingness to put his fighters (you in this case) in tough fights unless he holds most of the cards. You may want one thing, but do you have 100% say on the matter?

Alternatively you could rematch Jennings (the best fighter on your record) and actually beat him in a decisive manner?

Khan has a gameplan to stick to in the 140 division, unify the titles and prove legitimately he is number 1. why mess about with catchweights now?

What exactly is in it for khan?!I can see the reasons why kell would want it ie if he beats khan his profile will increase considerably, etc plus the purse he'd get for the fight would be his biggest to date etc but in all honesty it seems like a good deal for kell and a bad one for khan because if he loses he's lost too a guy with not much of a name at the moment and if he wins he's beaten a guy that noone really knows.

Personal question? It's a relevant question. Your the one who has come on a forum talking about how you are willing to fight Khan on the cheap, but then you won't answer the questions I asked. Your reply tells me that it doesn't matter what you are willing to do, if Frank veto's it then nothing happens.

Basically you are not gonna be fighting Khan, which is what most of us thought anyway. My feeling is Frank will have you sit on that WBO number one position and have a couple more fights while waiting for Pacquiao to give up the WBO title.

Simples!!!!!!!!
1. If Khan wants to go bragging (untruthfully) on his twitter about how he used to beat Kell up in sparring when they were amateurs and thereby disrespecting Kell, let him prove how good he is.

2. If Khan is talking of taking on Mayweather, as he is, why not see how you go on against a "no name", as you put it, welterweight like Kell.

3. The fight would certainly fill a decent sized arena, if only for curiosity sake, so Khan would get good reward for, according to you, very little risk.

What is the problem??????????

No time like the present!

The bottom line is khan ain't looking for a huge Vegas fight next he's made that clear and here's kell wanting it and not priceing himself out and the fans would love to see an intrigueing fight like this so why not, yeah khan's career would suffer if he lost but if his self belief is legit that won't cross his mind.

Brook is a very capable and powerful welter who has yet to be properly tested toward world level. He may sink or he may swim. Khan is at the very top of the division below. Kell is 12 months and 2 or 3 hard opponents away from an eliminator (imo). A bout with Khan won't come off. I'd like to see Kell box a high ranked boxer with defence and power. He about battered everyone (I thought Jennings would out think and work him); there're some top boxers in his weight class and smashing everyone around is no real preparation. (But I'm glad there's another good boxer who posts) :box:
