Turn to about 1 minute 25 seconds. When talking about Matthew Hatton, Canelo calls him 'undefeated'
Everyone knows that Hatton has 3 or 4 defeats on his record. Surely there is no chance that Alvarez has taken this fight without knowing his record?
Alternatively, he was of course being interpreted so this may have got 'lost in translation' Although 'undefeated' seems to me to be a fairly clear cut statement.
Very Strange..
Alvarez refers to Hatton as 'undefeated'

Craig Watson beat him nearly every round an made it look very easy
Re: Alvarez refers to Hatton as 'undefeated'
Does he mean Undefeated as a European Champion?
Re: Alvarez refers to Hatton as 'undefeated'
Alan Bosworth might argue this

Any champion is undefeated as champion , odd comment if thats what he meant .

Could just be a slip of the tongue. Wouldn't read too much into it. It's easy to do in that situation, when you're trying to quickly think of something interesting to say. I've come up with some absolute bo!!ocks at job interviews
