Carl Dilks and Smigga

Post by lefty »

Im not sure whether they have been about on the forum or not but i havent seen neither of them on here since their respective bouts against Degale, anyway I just wanted to say I hope they both come back on the forum soon as they're both cool guys who talk sense and the more pro fighters on here the better I think especially ones of that calibre!I know we're all guilty or most of us are guilty over of being over critical at times on here but I think it just shows we're passionate about the sport.Anyway Carl and Paul I hope you come back soon :TU:

Well, I think Dilks vs Smigga would actually be a good contest.

I think they should fight each other next. Should be a good fight & a big money maker in Liverpool.

Like the other guys have said you against smigga would be a good fight actually and also a decent earner for you i imagine.Although you'd probably need a tune up fight for that first to help get your confidence back before fighting another high calibre opponent.

Though Degale is a bit cocky and full of himself he is a bloody very good boxer. There's no shame in losing to him at all; he is getting better and better every fight. In 12 - 18 months at the same rate of improvement Degale will be whipping top world ranked boxers. Paul Smiths' defiant stand will look a better performance; Carl just got caught early on, it doesn't mean he can't fight. I'd watch all 3 box again; though I prefer Dilks and Smiths more low key personalities, Degales braggadicio is becoming easier to stomach as he's showing he's not all mouth.
