Ben, never a truer word spoken, I lost badly sometimes as well, I think they'd call it a Loss KO by 1,
I could never win an argument, she would know what i was thinking next week, most times Ha-ha.
Plus the fact i did plenty wrong as well, and they are like an elephant, "never forget"
Cheers,
Brad
Hi Scotty, How are you champ? I hope all's well over there, hey will you be at the fight on March 4? I will be there for the Yannick v McKinnon stoush, I will also be appointing another Aussie Judge for the junket.... errr, I mean Judging Assignment, I'm not sure who to bring over as yet but will work it out soon.
There was a suggestion we both may work the Soul v Shane fight, but i'm not really fussed or concerned, because i think our Kiwi brothers will do the right job, but irrespective of who wins. It is a good fight and one thats a 50/50 fight i feel.
Soulan is #1 OPBF and Shane is #2, so the Mandatory position is on the line here for the right to fight Jameson Bostic, who will also prove a tough fight for the winner. Bostic, at my invitation travelled to Tokyo back in October and dismantled Yuzo Kiyota in one round to grab the Light Heavyweight title, Kiyota is the current OPBF Super Middle 168 pound or 76-2kg .
Kiyota was looking to capture the 175 pound title due to weight concerns at 168Lb, but Jameson who was the only fighter interested in taking the fight went over and did the business, I was pleased because it now brings the focus at this higher level back to NZ and it can only be good for Kiwi boxing which is what my intention was, I would like to see more Kiwi's up there in the two most powerful regionals i am involved with, then i know the competition between our two proud and willing countries will progress and this in turn, can only be good for boxing in the Asia Pacific region.
Mate the Golf has been put on hold for a couple years now, even though i've purchased some great new Calloways, but it's not long till in get some time to get back into it.
I recently just moved into one of the leading Golf Course gated estates here on the coast, and they have some reasonably priced green fees etc for residents, so i have just had the odd bash down the driving range and beleive me, it wasn't pretty,
Anyway champ, sorry for the late reply, I hope to see you in Auckland in March, it's my birthday next day, but i maybe leaving Auckland at 06-30am to head back to get to WA for another show on that day, I'm busy trying to work the schedule to Perth and onwards, but it's proving difficult at this stage.
So if i decide not to go to WA, then we will be staying until late the next day, So you will have to catch-up with us all for my birthday, after-all it's not everyday you turn 20 something
All the best and stay in touch mate.
Regards
Brad
