Wow!!! At this tournament there has been a lot of mistakes I've been hearing from boxers that the weight master is letting fighters through even if there 2 pounds over weight... there have been some real bad dicisions at this tournament 123lbs division has had some really bad discisions so has the 141lbs and the 165lbs this tournament is very bad on how they run it!!

Some of these kids are keeping there weight and following the rules and what the weight division is and some others ones r just coming in at whatever they please I heard that corpus Christy kid jermery longoria came in at 125.5lbs when he fought Isaac Torres more then likely longoria the night of the fight was weighing 132, and it was a bad disicion I had Torres up by a couple of points and so did a lot of other coaches but that is the way they have it... I also had 165lbs Dallas kid above ft worth and ft worth got it.. on the 1st day I had Rio grande valley kid above Oscar mojica but oscar got the dis. And I thought Dallas boy George rincon loss but they gave it to him idk but this tournament is wack!!!!!

I think that is something that has been traditionally part of the GGs. A lot of older tournament directors still do that. We have a 2lbs weight allowance but it is for evening weigh ins. So you can weight in the am without the allowance but you'll be able to eat all day and box that evening. If you elect to go to evening weigh ins right before the fight you can only be 2lbs over but your opponent who weighed in at am may be much heavier. You get to choice which works best for you. If you cut a lot, you probably want to go to am so you can eat/drink.

Oh well, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. All of these qualifying tournaments are too important this year to not know how to run a tournament.

More bad disicion in the semi final action here 123lbs o'shanique foster beat on jermery longoria showed him a boxing lesson and they have the fight to longoria and at 141lbs Ryan Karl out pointed Ace la sure and the fight wad givein to corpus kid Ace this tournament has some very bad dicisions I don't know what's going on with the judges!!!

Some people had their complaints overall with the tournament but me personally I enjoyed my time there. Fought and lost a close fight with George Rincon, some say I won others disagree but I told him I'll see him at the nationals in the end I just brushed it off and headed back to the drawing board
