IMOP It sort of gives off a bad vibe.
I dont know the history of that mansion,
as far as when it was built and who had occupied it before Tyson when he moved in in 1990.
I had read it had been in foreclosure and Don King's wife thought Tyson may like it.
He purchased it for about $800,000.
Chump change compared to his 6 million dollar mansion in Bernardsville NJ where he had lived with his wife in the late 1980's.
I think the real debauchery may have happened inside when Tyson was in prision for 3 years.
He came back to it in 1995,but only stayed in it about a month, then he moved to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas,
then he bought a big mansion there.

Have any of you seen what Tyson's Vegas mansion was like? Which he bought in 1995! In Tomiyasu Lane. His next door neighbour was Wayne Newton!

Reportedly Tyson paid 3.7 million in cash for his Las Vegas mansion(previously owned by Ed Doumani a Las Vegas gamer.
It is or was 11.000 square feet.

Cheers for that! In about May/June 1996, The Ring Editor, Nigel Collins, produced a special volume of the magazine, which was only about Tyson. Collins & a Colleague spend the day at Tyson's Vegas mansion, touring the place, seeing his cars. He even takes Collins for a spin in his Brand New $800,000 Ferrari!

By letting your friends talk you into spending 400 million and not paying attention to anything around you

Tyson bought another"getaway" Mansion in April 1996(or his co-manager Rory Holloway did for him)
in Farmington CT.That mansion was built in 1987 and was also in forecolser for 2.7 million (the real estate agent who had lived there
previously was in jail)52,515 sq feet,48 rooms,33 bathrooms and a private movie theater.
Tyson sold that mansion in 2003 for a dollar to his soon to be ex-wife as part of a divorce settlement..
Rapper 50 cent purchased the mansion later that year for 4 .1 million and put in a helicopter pad.
I think he may have sold it in 2007.

There is a pic of it somewhere on the web, someone vandalized it with a rock.
I wonder why he left it behind?

Are you kidding? How was he going to move it out? That was right after he "broke his back" training.

Whoever was the Interior Designer for this house should be shot!

They say "No man can have it all", but boy, Tyson damn well nearly has it all! One cannot even begin to imagine his spending sprees!

King & his Cronies robbed him blind, no doubt about it!
