Khan's team give Alex Ariza the boot over money
http://www.BS.com/ariza-explod ... ute--35294
This is getting silly now. Khan's team appear to be the cheapest bunch of amateurs going. I hope they don't screw his career like Naz's family did. They have the golden ticket and are seriously trying to cash out.
I wonder if Khan will ever face a top contender again at this rate.

If true it beggars belief really that they could act like this, there are a lot of similarities with the way Naz's career went, its a shame really as I am with Ariza that its not the kid himself but the controlling situation that he finds himself in.Newport Daz wrote:http://www.BS.com/ariza-explod ... ute--35294

Re: Khan's team give Alex Ariza given the boot over money
This is pretty shocking if true. Khan himself has given credit to Ariza after every fight since they started working together and he's seen what he has done with Manny moving up in weight. Was reading Andre Agassi's book last month and he puts a lot of his success down to his strength conditioner.
As much as the team might like to think they know the stuff after a year with him, they'll be way off. They'll be sending Roach packing soon!

"There were almost a few times where Freddie and I didn't get on a plane because they wouldn't disclose how much Amir was getting paid on a fight."
He makes a very astute point with regards the people around Khan having zero point in life, should anything happen to Khan.

Thats a very serious accusation. Breaking into his hotel room and stealing things
I`d be very surprised anybody would want to work with the Khans. They sound like idiots operating well above their level.

I would say khan does have a role in this as its his family and he lets them manage him,its not like he's a 17 yr old kid anymore.GLOBALBOX wrote:If true it beggars belief really that they could act like this, there are a lot of similarities with the way Naz's career went, its a shame really as I am with Ariza that its not the kid himself but the controlling situation that he finds himself in.Newport Daz wrote:http://www.BS.com/ariza-explod ... ute--35294

You may well be right Lefty but I tried to phrase it nicely by saying "the controlling situation he finds himself in" I think there is a situation here that Khan for his own personal reasons will never deal withlefty wrote:I would say khan does have a role in this as its his family and he lets them manage him,its not like he's a 17 yr old kid anymore.GLOBALBOX wrote:If true it beggars belief really that they could act like this, there are a lot of similarities with the way Naz's career went, its a shame really as I am with Ariza that its not the kid himself but the controlling situation that he finds himself in.Newport Daz wrote:http://www.BS.com/ariza-explod ... ute--35294

Re: Khan's team give Alex Ariza given the boot over money
You have a feeling that in yrs to come he's going to probably regret letting them manage him just like naz did after his career was over.In the very short term khans teams are doing a good job in paying peanuts to his opponents but in the long run other promotional outfits and managers arent going to want to work with them and khans image will also go down the toilet.GLOBALBOX wrote:You may well be right Lefty but I tried to phrase it nicely by saying "the controlling situation he finds himself in" I think there is a situation here that Khan for his own personal reasons will never deal withlefty wrote:I would say khan does have a role in this as its his family and he lets them manage him,its not like he's a 17 yr old kid anymore.GLOBALBOX wrote: If true it beggars belief really that they could act like this, there are a lot of similarities with the way Naz's career went, its a shame really as I am with Ariza that its not the kid himself but the controlling situation that he finds himself in.

Shame, Ariza has done a very good job for Khan his fitness is impeccable and I think he can absorb a shot better since moving up and that's in no small part to Ariza bulking up his legs. So is Ariza still working with the other Roach fighters just not khan?

That'll surely be awkward for Khan and Ariza if they both still train at Wildcard.
