The Newport show listed for Monday 16-06-1947 was held at the Newport Corporation Bus Depot,
also the Newport show listed for 17-06-1947 is the wrong date and this should be added to the 16-06-1947 show.

The Newport show dated 11-06-1947 is also the wrong date and this also should be addedf to the 16-06-1947 show.

I have the programme for these 6 bouts,Johnny Williams came in for Alby Hollister and Des Jones for George Hyde.

Almost perfect did forget the Jones v Murphy bout was specifed for 6 rds. the other 5 were all for 8rds.

Weight divisions given were= Williams v Houlston. Middleweight.
Miller v Morris. Featherweight.
Jones v Murphy. Middleweight.
Morgan v Rees. Featherweight.
