David Haye isnt the Heavyweight Champion of the World.rhino222 wrote:NOT MANY TRAINERS HAVE TRAINED THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD...MANY HAVE TRIED...MANY HAVE FAILED. REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE FIGHTER MAKES THE TRAINER OR WHATEVER. THE NOUSE ETC THAT HAYE AND BOOTH HAVE SHOWN HAS GOT THEM A LONG WAY AND MADE THEM BOTH MILLIONAIRES........ THERE ARE MANY TRAINERS/MANAGERS/PROMOTERS WHO WOULD BE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR RESUME AND their BANK BALANCE.
and apologies for the stuck capitals key !!! i am not shouting!!
He is the WBA Heavyweight Champion.
There is a massive difference.
Re: Adam Booth
Haye is A heavyweight world champion; that is the key to massive paydays, lucrative sidelines and an array of opportunities (films etc) that otherwise would never come their way. Like him or not; Adam Booth has been instrumental in maneuvering Haye into that position.
Both Haye and Booth are THE experts when it comes to the athletic and boxing abilities of Haye; they will be under no illusion that there is every chance that Haye would get a career finishing beating v either Klitsko.
They have done very well to get a former light heavy and cruiser with stamina and vunerability issues to near the top of the heap in the heavyweight division.

Re: Adam Booth
I like Booth and Haye a lot. They have done it their own way and it has worked extremely well, despite obstacles put in their way, I suspect.
They both seem very straight talking and articulate, and Haye is a 2 weight world champion, who has got better and better.
What seems to annoy me is why no one is giving Wladimer Klitschko a hard time for chosing to take on a 14 fight british level notice instead of his one rival. That speaks volumes to me, it really does.

Yeah but when you say you're going to clear up the heavyweight division and be like lennox lewis and then you dont deliver you deserve the stick you get.simon fox wrote:Haye is A heavyweight world champion; that is the key to massive paydays, lucrative sidelines and an array of opportunities (films etc) that otherwise would never come their way. Re: Adam Booth
I wonder where Haye would be if he was stopped in 4 by Mormeck - it's gone perfect for his bank balance since then.
Re: Adam Booth
It's just for publicity isn't it though? A man like Lewis could fight every tough heavyweight out there and come back for more. He was a really big, strong and tough heavyweight. Haye is just not built for that type of heavyweight career; he is a very good fighter and puncher but he really has to pick his foes if he wants to keep that title. The wrong guy would be too hard, tough and fit and hit too hard for him. I'm not been funny but I think someone like Rahman would've beaten him.lefty wrote:Yeah but when you say you're going to clear up the heavyweight division and be like lennox lewis and then you dont deliver you deserve the stick you get.simon fox wrote:Haye is A heavyweight world champion; that is the key to massive paydays, lucrative sidelines and an array of opportunities (films etc) that otherwise would never come their way.
