Yarosz application has been registered. He is 9th on the list.

On a further note Mr. Buzz and Mr. Grimm have not shown any interest in their fighters participating in Prizefighter.

Are you looney? We've expressed interest to have Gans demolish the "winner" of this goof-fest upon it's conclusion.

MatthewS learned his lesson about going up against GBP fighters long ago, when Lil' PJ wet his pants as Joe Frazier knocked on his door.

MatthewSula has never recovered....and he has rightfully surrendered any hope of defeating a GBP fighter...so he claims he is "boycotting"....when in fact he is "submitting".

The Prizefighter Champion will be fighting for the WBU Champion in week 11...
As permitted by The Commish during his discussions with Barry Hearns. :TU:

Kevo, you of all people (with your vast experience in the Sim) should recognise that Prizefighter meets the requirements of a target audience, this group being Unranked and low ranked boxers.

Detroit recognised that...And partially fulfilled the need when he devised the Million Dollar Tournament, to give a set amount of fighters a chance at glory.

The Sim is exciting when a Manager has a fighter as a World Champion or when his fighters are in the top 10, but it can be stagnate and boring when Managers' fighters are stuck near the bottom of the tree...

In that case, they are "just going through the motions" as it were and maybe just hoping that somewhere down the line they might be offered a WBU title shot. And bearing that in mind, who can blame Managers for leaving?

Prizefighter will come around 3 times a season and offer the chance for 8 boxers to get their careers back on track. Someone will win 3 fights in a single week and could spark new life in the Champion, who will instantly be awarded a WBU title shot.

It's an exciting prospect. Fighters at the top of the tree don't need any help but the lower fighters far down need a boost sometimes, and this is right up their street.

There's no need to mock Prizefighter, there are no major world titles in play, but it is a new injection into the Sim and we will see what Week 10 brings.

Crease, it's just occured to me that I'm not sure how this is going to work being part of a regular week. Any fighter not losing in the 1st round will have more than 1 fight for the week, and will give them a leg up in rankings.

Perhaps we should run it in between week 10 and 11 as exhibition bouts, and have the winner get a WBU shot week 11?

Mr. Commish, we understand your concerns, but their victories won't score heavy in the rankings because all the boxers are lower region fighters. It's different if top 10ers were to be beat, that would boast their rankings considerably.

The Prizefighter Champion will be fighting 3 fights in a single week (and that will be on his record) but a tournament victor cannot enter a later tournament.

The Don Krease and Barry Hearns are asking for a leap of faith here Commish. :TU:

We understand your concerns but if PF is to be run as exhibition fights (and off the record) then it becomes pointless. The lower ranked fighters need a boost and this will provide it to them. :TU:

It'll be just like the real life PF. Would you say that Travis Dickinson has been given an unfair boost in his rankings because he won itrecently? Of course not. :TU:

Was just having the same thoughts RE: the extra fights. This is giving fighters ranked lower than 15 an unfair boost, it's like they're being rewarded for being shit.

I say shut this thing down.

Another thing: am I right in thinking that the overall winner of PF gets a guaranteed shot at the WBU title the following week? What happens if the wiinner enters the top 15 upon winning the tourney? As they'd then become ineligible for a shot at the WBU.
