First of all i would'nt worry too much about booing the aussie anthem, the Aussies are the most one eyed , parochial supporters in the world. They love nothing more than beating the English and take it too heart when they can;t

Knocking the English in Australian used to be a national pasttime and mostly done tongue in cheek, The poms were always the distant cousins, who you would slag off when there not there, but be mates with when they visited.

That was then, but now its different, the migrants don't traditionally come from Briton , lots of Aussies are second generation italian, greeks or whatever . most of there recent imigrants come from the middle east and they are develpoing a genuine hate for the poms ,

Its no longer tongue in cheek most of the second generation wogs really do hate the english, so I would'nt cry over booing there anthem.

Which is kind of odd then really isn’t it. If most of the second generation “wogs” (as you put it) are greeks and Italians then whetre does their hatred of the English stem from? The colonial past doesn’t effect them does it…?

Sure is odd but i'm sorry to say us English are without a doubt the most hated people on earth, and that is a fact. Sure we all have mates who are from different countries but overall most hate the English.

Suppose its down to the fact over the centuries the English have loved a good battle and had one with just about every nationality

Just passed down and bred through competitive sports. It's like hating jews because your grandad used to say they were tight with money, even though you've never seen any evidence. (By the way, my grandad never said that I dont share that view, just an example!)

Its jealousy too frankly. Nobody sneers at small insignificant States do they....

Think of our historical contributions towards the arts, literature, science, exploration, military ...whatever. No other country has done as much combined.

Regardless of your history or what you contributed to the world, your country will still get little or no respect while a MINORITY of your people consistently let you down when they are representing your country. It's nothing to do with jealousy you tosser, it's only due to the behaviour of your fans when they are representing your country and also because of idiots like you who are so blinded with arrogance that you think it's all down to jealousy.

give it a rest will you .

so you hate the english big deal, fornicate it i will live.

i dont hate the irish, welsh, scots, whatever but i do hate the minority you are referring to though, which kinda means we are on the same side BUT i think you are wrong to condemn the english as a nation and the anthem this shows you have fornicate all class mate and a massive chip on your shoulder..

and i also believe that by booing the anthem you are lowering yourself to those you are criticising, that is the way i see it.

now anyone fancy talking some boxing?
