Pickering - Hunter (Whisper it quietly)

Post by TheGoods »

Have heard that if Esham comes through against Malon this week then Pickering - Hunter WILL take place later this year. The fight looks a natural and would prove a terrific domestic tear-up. Out of interest, how would you price it up?

Having seen Hunter v Sean Hughes (Hunters last British title defence) plus last fridays fight in spenymoor id have to go for hunter due to his pure volume of attack. he never seems to tire and never stops throwing shots. Pickering was a bit slow out of the blocks last time out against a fading Noel Wilders, if he does this against Hunter he will get swarmed.

Pickering 1/2 Hunter 6/4

I really rate Hunter, as most who know me are aware, but his last fight reminded me he still has plenty to refine. If Esham was in slick mode and could stay out of the way, I'd favour him. Anything less than Esham at his best though and it would be a different matter.
