Britains heavyweight prospects

Now im going be controversial and offend some people here but thats not my intention,my intention is just to be completely about how i feel about our current prospects in the heavyweight division so here goes ...........David price = I think price is the best boxer out of the bunch from a technical standpoint and i think his amateur accomplishments bear that out but i dont think the guy utilises his size and reach enough, whilst i know its not the most entertaining to watch he should box more like the klitshcko's in my opinion and use the jab more.He also has a questionable chin.Big larry ....now i commented yesterday how i cant see larry doing that much but i watched his latest fight which i missed at the time and he seemed like he has improved technically to an extent, obviously he's huge and very strong and also has alot of power so that will help him,i just worry whether his boxing skills will be good enough when he steps up in levels.Tom Dallas= now theres been quite alot of hype around this guy in on this forum but i have to be honest and say i dont think he's anything that special based on what ive seen so far,He's big and strong and like larry can punch but he seems very flat footed to me and quite easy to hit aswell but time will tell i guess!Tyson fury = now i actually think fury has good potential but only if he gets himself in better shape!ok finally derek chisora ...I actually think that chisora is probably the best of the bunch,he's pretty quick for a heavyweight,he has good speed and he's a decent puncher. He also has very good upper body movement, hopefully the klitschko loss wont hurt him too badly (lets be honest,he's going to lose that fight) anyway whats your thoughts?P.s sorry for the poor structuring of this,i was trying to do it in paragraphs but having trouble for some reason!

Ill start of by saying eff the paragraphs , its a boxing forum not an english lesson and it gets on my tits when people try to correct it , i cant be arsed on here to make the same effort that i would on say a job application .
Anyway , the debate on our heavies can go on and on and on as until there tested properly we really have no idea how their going to turn out , in my opinion chisora has been promoted best as we heard of him pretty early on , price is an ex amateur star and Fury is a guy that believes his own hype and im sort of wondering if he may become the next audley harrison , whilst i believe all outr heavy prospects have bags of potential i can see Dallas and Olubamiwo surprising people and going furthest , now i dont think larry has the most boxing skill or anything i just think that he could become underated and overlooked and therfor sneak up on the blindside getting his big oportunity without anyone realising and take it with both hands , andhes sure got a bit of power , but overall i think dallas has impresed me the most so far ,

One thig i will say is its going to be an interesting time for the next year or 2 .
big Larry will get his first real test this month , im going for a 6ko for the highlight reel .

but on actual boxing ability the most skilled is surely price , but theres something about him that im unsure on , i just cant put my finger on what yet.

Well i had to apologise or someone would jump down my neck over my poor english! To be honest i guess im very picky in terms of fighters and i really want to see some top heavyweights again like lewis, tyson, holyfield, etc, etc as currently i think the klitschkos who i think are very good fighters and under appreciated because of there styles are miles in front of everyone else in the skills department!I think haye would have a good chance because he hits very hard plus he's very quick but everyone else i pretty much see getting a whooping!

Same for me too pal , id love to see the Klits lose and retire not cos i think there bad boxers or anything but bcause i think it will release the heavies a bit , a more competitive division may help an awful lot towards it raising its profile again , and id love the british heavies to be at the forefront of that .

Simon Vaillily was the Amateur in the Commonwealth games, he won Gold and presumably will be going to London 2012 , that will be the acid test, he did look very good to be honest but that level was far below what he will deal with in London so guess we should not get too excited but I liked him a lot.

Excluinding Haye I think Chisora is rightly considered the best in the country at present with Sexton probably second best.

Third place is up for grabs for me, Mix any of Price,Fury or Sprott.

Behind them we have Larry O, Towers and Dallas.

If just one of them can come through and give us the excitement that Lewis did some Dozen or so years ago it will do for me, realistically once the Klitschko's have gone it will be
much more open, the guys they keep beating are ageing as well and they will not be around for much longer.

Opposition is key for me and I know we have discussed it many times but they do need to move up now and get some competitive rounds in, of course we don't want them beaten yet but are they learning anything? The answer is no in my book.

Larry O is moving up against McDermott, will it backfire, bloody right it could but it gives Larry and his team the answers they need.
