Is that Double A Promotions?

Leaving Hayemaker out of pocket with a beaten fighter.

All sounds very Haye v Maccarinelli doesn't it
Yep and thats how I see it playing out. A supposed 50:50 being very one-sided for DeGale.
I think people are underestimating groves though, whilst degale has looked better in his last few fights for me the anderson fight was tougher than the smith fight, not because anderson is a better boxer but he's more durable and probably hits harder.

Degale will slaughter him. I really believe it will not even be competitive. I already think Degale is in the top 10 Super Middleweights in the world, even now and Groves has so many defensive flaws that Degale will exploit that it could turn out to be a real embarrassment for him. In fact it could be Calzaghe v Lacy esque.
noooooo, degale is a great talent but when groves puts his mind to it he has a great boxing brain too.I fancy degale definitely but i dont think its a whitewash like people are making out!

Seems like Fwank's matchmaking is still enough to pull the wool over people's eyes. Reminds me of the hype around Enzo Macc after the Hobson fights and the comments about Haye.
Enzo was never Olympic champion!

Dave Coldwell says he's informed the BBBofC of the date and venue for the fight.

Anyone heard whispers when it could be? Need to know asap as this is the fight of the year for me and i don't wanna miss it.

I've heard 2nd April mentioned but not recently. I'm back up north at the beginning of April but i'll try and rearrange things if it's the same weekend

Can any one explain to me a possible motive behind hayemaker lodging two different purse bids. My initial thought was that they could then pull the top bid if they found their other bid was higher than FW. However have read the T&Cs it appears were the £400K bid to be withdrawn then it would go back to purse bids.

Its likley Booth put in his bid but then panicked slightly or may have heard rumours Warren put in more. So he got Coldwell to put in a major bid.

Hayemaker have just signed a 4 fight deal for Groves headlining shows on Sky in 2011. This will kick it off, probably April 9th.
