Lefty I think you are wrong mate. Katsidis is a great opponent for Murray for so many reasons:
- Katisidis is very well known on these shores so any fight with him will sell well = money all round
- Kat has been up and around world level for a while now and has given great value, sometimes coming up slightly short but generally proving he belongs in and around that level with the world level fighters.
- He has absolutely mullered 2 other british fighters, proving he would clearly be a great test for Murray
- I also agree with others that Frank would wangle it for some belt or other and sell it well.

Yeah but murray wants to become a proper world champion, anyway aside from that whats to say that murray wouldnt/couldnt make big money fighting an unbeaten mexican in mexico considering that mexicans make up a large part of the boxing fanbase?Dioufy wrote:It's never stopped Frankie before.lefty wrote:Yeah but not a legitimate world titleDioufy wrote:He'll get it for a 'world-title' because there's about 15 viable belts per division.

Well we'll have to disagree on this one,as it is katsidis is going to be fighting robert guerrero anyway a guy that beat escobado and casamayor pretty comfortably when kat beat escobado by split decision and got knocked out against casamayor who by the way was about 36/37 when he fought katsidis so he wasnt exactly in his prime.TheCobra wrote:Lefty I think you are wrong mate. goodKing Geedorah wrote:Murray himself has often stated that Katsidis is a great fight for him. Sure, he'd take any of the title-holders but if a fight came off against Kat with a stake of the WBO on the line then he'd go for it as you have a guaranteed seller. Kat has a tough one lined up but one 'W' and a win for Murray or Mitchell and you just know that they'll be talk of Michael coming over here again.

Im not saying it wont happen because its boxing and we all knows its a joke the business and regulation side of things.I think katsidis will struggle to beat guerrero anyway to be honest.King Geedorah wrote:Murray himself has often stated that Katsidis is a great fight for him.
